Broken clip on holster grip

The clip on the mini revolver holster grip is terrible! It is super tight and finally broke! Is there a better clip that can be used on the holster grip?

When I got my holster grip, I noticed that it was very difficult to remove from my belt and also snagged on the seam of my pocket if hooked there.  I found that the raised edge on the end of the clip was formed rather more like a hook than a knob.  Consequently, rather than preventing the assembly from slipping off the belt or the pocket accidentally, it prevented removal at all.  I actually had to lift the hook end over the edge of my belt or pocket with one finger while pulling up on the grip to dislodge it.

My solution was to take a small file to the hook end and round it off to more of a ridge, with a smooth, tapered aspect to it.  This still allows it to grip tightly but lets it be removed with a slight tug.  Works for me!  Also, mention to NAA that yours broke and see what happens.

Thanks. I probably will follow that advice.  How could I get a new clip if I screw it up?

Twainman

Contact NAA.  I can't make any promises on their behalf, of course, but in my experience their customer service is second to none.  If they don't replace it under warranty, they can sell you a new one pretty cheap.

Best solution. Look to Rick at Desert Gun Leather. Best designed and looking leather out there and he stands behind everything that comes out of his shop.  :)

He stands behind it, in front of it, and on top of it. Great craftsmanship, and his personality ain't half-bad, either...... :D

I'll second that.

I want a new clip to go on the holster grip, not an actual holster

Make one has always been my answer. If you can do it better, then you can make a profit from it.
