I broke down and bought a bond arms in 357/38spl, haven't been shooting yet but I already know it,s a keeper, I love the way it feels and looks, just need to start saving for a longer barrel in 45/410, and maybe a 45acp & 10mm,

Did a bit of googling and found no straight answer:

Will .40 chamber and fire in the 10mm Bond barrel? Headspace off of case mouth or rim.

Those are a bit of a handful alright .  :)
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

Why yes, yes they do! And as a bonus feature, it also comes with a plaster cast accessory, but it's recommend that you have a friend set your wrist for you and apply the plaster, rather than doing it by yourself. It always pays to have a shooting buddy!

not that bad at all. the derringer has some weight to it and the grips give you a firm hold on the gun.

I got a .22LR barrel set for my Bond Arms Snake Slayer. Cheap to shoot and lots of fun at the range. The .410 is the least pleasant to shoot of the cartridges I am set up for..... .38/.357, .45Colt, .410.

Heh! Heh! Good one!  ;)

G50AE

Actually I think a single shot set up would be better for 50AE.

I've got one of the Snake Slayer in .45/.410, I also have 2 of the .22 to .45 Colt conversion cartridges to use with it, makes for very comfortable firing, you definitely know you are shooting something with the .45, I haven't tried it with a .410 shell, yet,  :o  :o  :o
I've got several derringers, 4 Cobra's a 9MM, .38 Special, .25 Auto, and .22 LR/.22 Magnum, and an American Derringer in .38 Special, in addition to the Bond. I guess I watched 1 too many Yancy Derringer episodes.  ;D  ;D  ;D
You've made a very good choice, good luck with your Bond.

Have you guys checked out the Absaroka Kid's large-frame derringer holsters? His leather alone almost convinced me to buy a Bond. Someday, I'll have one!

heyjoe

whats going on with the absaroka kids website. i looked yesterday and there is nothing on it.

Fine looking gun, Seeker! I have been tempted by Bond derringers but so far I have resisted.

heyjoe

resistance is futile. you have to at least get a 45 colt mini bond derringer. they are fun.

I'm working on it. Which one did you go to? There are a couple he's reserved, but I've been only working on one for now:

The last two weeks have been crazy for me. I hope to get back to it soon.

Don't tell him that. He seems to have enough work for two Absaroka Kidses. LOL. Hopefully, he'll soon get more business from his website and his costs in eBay fees will go down. But the customers drive the market, so we'll see.

I love it ,
Now I,m torn between the 45/410 barrel or the 10mm,
I love the 10mm but wonder what it would feel like in a 3 inch derringer.

Only one way to find out. When you figure it out let us know what you think.
