Did you ever get an Earl?

My 3" was almost as good as my '63', at 21', at the range the other day.  It's a great little shooter.

Has anyone else shot their Earl against a MiniMaster or BW?  If ya'll did, who won?

I have shot my 3" earl against my widow.. I do better with my widow but i have put that aside as me knowing my widows sights much better then the earl. i have put ALLOT of rounds through my widow and maybe only 150 rounds through the earl. they were close as far as I could tell (wasnt shooting at paper) but i was hitting my mark consistently with the widow and getting near misses with the earl. I was shooting at bottle caps strung up from a branch at about 6-7 YDS

Never had a BW, but I've had a 1" 5/8 that I've shot for a couple years.  Put several hundred shots through it and the first time I shot Earl, it was amazingly better.

I bought a Earl with both cylinders out of a gun

store in a little town about 45 miles down the road.

I shoot the Earl more than I shoot the Pug

or the Black Widow. I almost always shoot 22LR

in all of them. I think both the Earl and the BW

shoot about the same and it depends on the

shooter on a givin day which one shoots the best.

I have never shot any of them at paper. I mostly

shoot them at so called targets, on the ground

so when I see where the bullet hits I can correct

my sights and maybe hit what I was aiming at. I

have made some really long shots by doing that

but I go home and don't shoot for a few days I

have to start over next time. If I only shot

one gun I wouldn't have to relearn every time

I went out to shoot. I have heard it said(beware

of the person that shoots one gun). Thats not me.

No matter how good these little guns shoot I

will never be able to shoot them like I can the

bigger framed guns with good sights. The fun with

any of these guns is trying to get as accurate

as you can with what you have to work with.

   I have a mini-master 22LR with adj. sights that

I don't shoot much. It shoots way high with those

sights so some times I don't shoot it for years.

Maybe someday I will get different sights for it.

Now after all this thing about shooting I think

I will grab a bag full of guns and a pouch full

of shells, warm up old truck, and go shooting.

   Life is good!!!

Its up to 8 above zero so I will shoot out of

   truck window..

At least theres no range fees....
