I inherited my only .22 LR Mini a few years ago, I sent it to NAA for a safety cylinder and a rebuild but I've only just got round to asking them how old my revolver is. They tell me it was born on 9/19/1979.

How about yours, do you know how old they are?

Uncle_Lee

I have a pair of the short model that was made in Aug 76.

I still have the receipt showing I bought my first .22 LR in 1978. Date of manufacture unknown. I paid $125.00 and $7.50 tax for it. I walked out of the gun store with it as soon as I paid. I probably paid too much but they were all the rage then and dealers could hardly keep them in stock.

You folks from Calif. know what a great age that was when you pay for a gun and walk out of the store with it!

My original is a LR, 1 1/8 barrel. I got it late '76 or (maybe) spring '77. Still have it.

TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

I liked carrying it. Maybe I will find a nice used mini mag and have its "big brother" created.

August of 1992 for my .22 short.

cwlongshot

I bought my first back in 1988-'89. Still have it. Had a 5 shot Cassull and traded it.

My short is as old, but I bought that one used probably mid '90's.

Thank you. Jim does good work. All I did was supply the gun, money and permission!
