Hey guys I think I decided of what to get if you read my other post. I went to two gun shops and saw the side winder at one, and a wasp at another. No guardian in sight ( I'm glad I didn't :) ) I Like the wasp way better for some reason than the side winder. The side winder only had 22 magnum and the wasp had 2 cylinders for the same price as the side winder or lower a bit. Just wanted to know your information about these firearms.

Thanks,
J

I bought the Wasp convertible last Month. Like the piece very much. I practice with the LR cylinder and use the Mag cylinder for open or concealed carry. The stock grips are not at all good for anything but looks. I bought the large rosewood mag grips, makes for a very nice addition. I have the same type grip on my Bond Derringer, so I am used to the pinky tuck under the grip.
This is my often carry piece, with a custom leather mini western type holster. My Cowboy Shooter Friend builds custom leather for Cowboy Action Shooters. We designed a Holster just for the Mag 1 5/8" barreled NAA' Mini's.
The 22 Mag cylinder sports five CCI Speer Gold Dots. Made for short barreled 22 mag Revolver/Pistol , Critical Defense use.
My next NAA Mini Revolver will be the just announced, Range II.

Try Davidson's "Gallery of Guns".
When I bought mine they had three in stock, They may have two left with the dual cylinders.

LGS do not usually carry this model, they only stock the standards which sell the most.

BTW; the sights are dead-on at 25' to 10 yards , with hi-vel 22LR's, six-O' clock hold.

Actually, I have a question about cylinders. OK, I just picked up a NAA  22 companion
with extra cylinder, all in supreme condition, my question, is it possible to change out
Cap & ball cylinders to rim shot cylinders ?
Thanks , SirMichael

For easy shooting go with the folding holster grip.  For looks the choices are endless.  I have found that when I need to shoot something if I don't get it with the first or second shot I'm not going to get it so I don't find the faster loading of the sidewinder that valuable and I like the lines of standard revolvers better.  If you need more shots just pull out your second mini.  They aren't that expensive of that hard to carry.

Short answer...
No, not possible...

Long answer...
Yes, someone somewhere is making a conversion cylinder for them. I just can't find it right now....

For easy carry I'd pick the cheapest used l.r. , with conversion I guess , that one can buy . Send it in to NAA for redo and be happy . ;) ;)
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

If you're going to shoot it a lot, get the Sidewinder; easier to reload is going to make a big difference in your enjoyment of it.

As a PD firearm, the point of minis are to be easily concealed&carried, & not to be shot unless forced to do so at great extreme: for that, the BW is probably your better choice.
