Well, for me a Ruger is every bit as beautiful as any S&W or Colt, though the Python remains a favorite of mine too. I don't think they look like Boat Anchors, they look like good, high quality revolvers that are my favorites to have, shoot and carry. It is all in the eye of the beholder...

I believe what OV was trying to state is that the Rugers, although very nice looking firearms, always seem to have that thick and heavy look to them whereas the Colts seem more lithe and shapely.

Kind of the difference between a female East German swimmer and a Russian ballerina. Both can be attractive women but their is a noticeable difference between the two.

I was not posting to show fine revolvers, though they are that; I was posting an example for OV's statement about Rugers. Note the fine lithe lines of the Russian ballerina (Colt) compared to the beautiful, but more muscular East German swimmers (Ruger Vaquero and Blackhawk.)

I will not post any of my revolver photos until this coming Wednesday.

What makes Rugers so stout looking is the square corners not like Colt or Smith rounding their edges . Trimming away the fat so to say .

Well one thing for sure is over-sized , over-weight has be come the new norm it seems . The fashion industry is awash with large girls , if nothing else you get more cloth for the money ,ha .

Smokeless Joe it seems nobody wants your special Day for wheel guns. Its too bad I thought it was a cool idea to have one day set aside that we could show off a special gun or 2 we owned but all the kids want to jump the gun. oh I can't wait gessh

Me too Warty but I do not mind looking at the out of date postings of some of the more impatient folks. As long as they have enough photos to go around.

Of course you early posters could always change the dates on your posts to reflect Wednedays.

Yeah, she spells out C-O-L-T when you pull back the hammer. I wasn't going' to call out OV, as he see the beauty in firearms from a higher level. Even S&Ws you point in the direction of the bad guy.
