I just got myself a new 22 revolver from that estate sale at my LGS for a mere $70 plus tax.  It is an H&R Pre64, no serial number 7 shot 22 "rimfire" according to the stamp on the barrel.  It is in GREAT SHAPE, barrel is as well as the rest of it.  They hadn't put it out when I bought the other two so I got excited when I went in to make a payment on my new Ruger 327mag/9mm Vaquero which is still on layaway.  When I pay that off there will be pix of it too but for now, I will show off my New 22 as well as my other 2's on Wednesday. (Which is also my 55th birthday!) ;D

This is my 1860 Belgium Colt, Made in 1959. It is shown here with the 45 Schofield conversion Cylinder.
I bought this piece unfired several Years ago. This has Silver plated grip frame and trigger guard. All original, frame color case is vintage, Barrel was re-blued to match the new Conversion Cylinder. The Cap & Ball original cylinder is all original.
The conversion I had done to my specifications.
This piece has Belgium Smokeless proof test and markings.

OK, So it's officially Wednesday here in Eastern Standard Time. Here is my Ruger Bisley Single Six. With coffee background for Unc and others reading this in the morning, unlike us night-owls.

Like it's namesake, it is a true target gun (in spite of the fixed sights). It will keep all six shots well inside an inch at 25 yards from a good rest. In my experience, that is pretty rare for Ruger revolvers. The grip fills the hand perfectly. Since it is a revolver (and won't jam), I keep it loaded with Colibri's to deal with certain things without bothering the neighbors. I got lucky and found it when I wandered into a gun shop while visiting Tampa many years ago for $150.

Can't wait to see the fancy stuff you guys are going to post today! I've always loved revolvers over semi's. Wheelguns RULE! :)

I'm kind of a fan of the Rugers although I find most guns attractive. Not in a weird way 😄

She's purdy warty

Warthog

Thank you Joe, she is my pride and joy.  I have wanted an engraved firearm forever but never bothered to get one done when I had money.  The first time they made these, for Ruger's Anniversary, I missed out.  My LGS was not able to obtain one for me.  So when this one came out I raced down and asked for it again, and this time, since it wasn't a big collector item, they were able to get me one.  I traded in my old 357 mag SP101 for this one.  I carry it and shoot it, no safe queens for me.  It isn't a big collector item this time so I am glad to shoot it.  Was gonna get some nicer looking grips but these have grown on me and they feel great in my hands so they will stay.

Warty that is a beauty! I like the grips - they are classy and match the lovely engraving on the gun.

Those are all sweet pieces but this shop keeper model I'm a real sucker for and Arts S&W Talon grips gotta find a set of those , have to . Engraving goes without saying the beauty involved .

It's too bad that our friends cant be here with us today

Warthog

Talo did a good job on these.  I was and am very happy with what they did as far as engraving and the grips look good with it too.

Nice pics heyjoe. Gonna have to step up my game on my next post. What caliber is that?

Warthog

my guess, 38 special is the caliber.  1950s was when police carried 38s.

I'll will add a close up shot of just the grips in my original post. (Pic just added.) I think Altamont makes the grips for them. There probably a hard find, but ya never know.

heyjoe

yes its a 38 special....the main differences between a baby chief and the later model 36 is the smaller trigger guard, the shorter grip frame and a leaf spring vs a coil spring. i have another baby chief with a smooth ramp front site which ill post on another wednesday and a 38 S&W Terrier and a 32 hand ejector.

Wow, those are some nice guns you mention. Please post pics of the 32 hand ejector first! I'll post some pics of mine eventually, but it's pretty old and worn. For being 105 years old, I guess it's okay. They just don't make 'em like that anymore!.

Leave it to you HeyJoe to post one of the best of all . Sweet piece , the mini of their day , a detectives gun .
