Yes I was very pleased. Shot 50 Hornady and 50 CCI. No issues.

Had my Bond done with the final engraving this past Week at Winter Range. For the past three years, I had Jim Downing, The Gun Engraver do parts of the piece at a time. This is the final look. The other side is a mirror image.
Not a Wheel Gun, but sure is pretty !!!!!!

   WOW Lefty !! That looks so sweet , big bore derringers are the only real pocket peace keeper and that tops the cake . The sound that comes from that , people take extra notice though a handful but they are great for cupping in the hand for an extra weighted actual punch .

She is one of my EDC's !!!!
First engraving was the barrel, long sides.
Second engraving, the upper frame.
Third and final, lower frame, trigger area. The short barrel lower and the upper barrel.

An other Jim Downing engraved piece;
This is my Cimarron 5 1/2" Single Action Army 45 Colt. Action work is as slick as a Toads tongue, Bore slug's at .450", all cylinder throats are .4505". Forcing cone is cut to 11 degrees. The one piece grip is custom made, with a slight palm swell on the left side. This piece shoots clover leaf groups at 25 yards. It likes to digest 250 gr. LSWC's, also will do the same with Nosler 250 gr. RNJHP. all bullets sized to .451". Nosler makes their 45 Colt RNJHP in .451". Unique is the powder of choice.

I figured that's what you wanted to see. That was the first palm swell Joe did on a set of his custom grips. The two hand hold and strong side palm swell is very effective for off-hand long range shooting. I have hit a 3 1/2 foot steel gong at 275 yards with this piece many times. My long range load is a 250 gr. Keith style LSWC, under 7 grains of unique.
This piece out shoots my pair Colt Custom shop 4 3/4" 44WCF's.
She is a keeper !!!!

Ok just got some new pearl grips and thought I'd see how they looked on the RII. I think they look pretty snazzy. Feel good too, not as slippery I thought they would be which is a good thing.
