Found this used 32 acp Guardian at one of my LGSs for $250 OTD with these 3 regular and one extended magazine, box, manual and a fanny pack holster like I used to have with my old 32 Guardian before it was sold.  Couldn't resist so I went to my Bank, broke into my savings and bought it.  Haven't shot it yet but I will before much longer.  Now I need to figure out which of the wood grips sold on the NAA sight to get for it.  I had them on my old one and I like the way they feel in my hand so I will be checking those out soon. 8)

super deal guy. my last one i bought from a buddy for 150. he was down on his luck but so was my bankroll. told him he can buy her back but he wants a kel-tec p32. so i did him a favor and got another deal. used pocket guns just do not seem to have a big resale tag in berks county pa. yeah well. kevin.

Uncle Fatso

Nice catch, Warty.  I've had an eye peeled for a deal on one of those.

theysayimnotme

I had two. Earlier this year I sold one for $380 so it would seem you got a good deal. Of course since it is not on the approved list here in the DPRK that may add some value to it as you can only buy one in a private party sale from someone who has a legal one.
I'd even be willing to sell the other one but I would want more since it has been "melted".

A quick check for used Guardians on GunBroker would seem to indicate that you got a really great deal, Warty.  Well done, sir!  I look forward to your range report!   :D
So, making guns illegal will take them off the street?
Perfect!  We should probably make heroine and meth illegal, too!

Got some ammo at Academy just a while ago, it was even on sale.  It must be a sign, this gun was meant to be mine.  :)

Yeah, it isn't a Ranger II but I still think it is a nice little pistol.  I bought some Kingwood grips and hex grip screws last night so a new pic with those on it to appear soon.

Warty; put some Pearce mag base plates on it. They will give you a little bit more gun to grab onto. Makes a world of difference in both feel and looks.

I was going to add the ones NAA has but they were out of stock.  I will look for those RogueTS1, thank you. :)

Nice, now that's a deal!

RogueTS1

The factory NAA ones look ok and feel better than the flat ones but there is no comparison to the Pearce ones. They give a lot more to hang onto as well as look so much better.

I believe it is the Beretta Tomcat model that fit the Guardian. It is either that or the LCP but I am pretty sure it is the Berettas.

That was definitely a good deal. One word of caution on the wood grips is that on my 380 they made the grip much wider and spoiled it for pocket carry so I ended up taking them off, even though they looked great. I don't know if that's an issue for the #2 or not. I guess if you had them before they are the same now for the 32.

Love the Pearce mag plates, Rogue.  They do make a huge difference with little autos.  I have a bunch of them, myself.

Yup, I will look for them.  I will see which ones fit it and then get some.

Yes, the wood grips make the Guardian a bit wider but I suppose that is why I like them.  I can find a way to carry mine when I get to doing so.

Thanks Guys

I got my Guardian 380 for about the same price. If I could find s 32 for anything close to that I'd grap it!

The 32 is probably narrower in the first place so you can add some extra width. On the 380 it made it a tight pocket fit in jeans.

I thought it looked absolutely fantastic, it raised the Guardian to a whole new level in terms of how classy it looked, imagine my disappointment when form had to be sacrificed to function and I had to go back to the Black factory grips  :(  Although even they looked a little better with the stainless screws from the wood grips :)

Yeah, they are a bit slimmer than the 380s and 32NAA.  Had those for a while but the 32 was always the one I took with me.  I know it will become a bit wider with the King Wood grips, I may still carry it in pocket though, with the current weather, my hand pocket of my coat can fit a larger firearm and still not show.  I have even carried my LCR-9mm or 38+P and it didn't make any one look.  Even in the mall where one is supposed to leave all weapons, even knives even small pocket knives, in the car or not take them at all.  Stupid mall. :o

Now to see which of the Pearce Finger grips work, I am gonna get some for the Tomcat first because I can use them on my Tomcat if they don't work on the Guardian.

Yep, stupid Mall, I never take notice of those signs, because we all know what happens in gunfree zones, plus leaving your gun in your vehicle in the parking lot, where it could get stolen is infinitely more dangerous to everyone than a law abiding person keeping their gun on them.

The mall here posted the no weapons sign BEHIND A COKE MACHINE, where no one could possibly see it.  There are  huge signs about how far away from the door a smoker must stand to not be made to leave but the no weapons sign is not to be seen without looking for it.

I went to the mall once and was carrying and went to Radio Shack to get a cable I needed, the Manager notice I had a gun, under my jacket, and called the police on me.  The Cops who came were cool, they told me about the sign and told me they had said it should be moved to the owners and even let me buy the cable before asking me to leave with them.  Manager decided to tell me he wouldn't sell it to me, the cops told him he needed to sell it or else, so he finally broke down and sold it to me.  I walked out with the two cops and they took me to the door and asked me, not told me, to leave it in the car or at home, next time.

As I left the store I told the manager, you could have just asked me to leave and I would have left.  The policemen laughed and said, yeah he was probably making a mess in his pants when he saw it.  We laughed and left, no worries.  Now I make extra sure if I got to the mall so they can't worry about me anymore.

You know, you raise an important question about our 2nd Amendment rights, Warty.  At what point have these establishments crossed the line into infringement upon the constitution?  But, I guess the question is really moot.  They just don't give a d@mn!

The second amendment is a guarantee to keep the government from interfering, not a private business. The good news is, if they don't want my gun, they must not want my money. There are plenty of businesses who are quite willing to accept both.

This Jim, a private business can do what they feel is the way to be, it is their business and their property.  It is their right per the Constitution, to be able to restrict a firearm or any weapon from being brought onto their property, just as it would be for you on your own property.

But it also my right to go elsewhere if they don't want me to be armed on their property. ;)

Just ordered some Tomcat Pearce finger extensions so I suppose we will see if they fit or make me use it on my LCP or Tomcat, apparently they fit all of these pistols.

Yeah, thanks, guys ...  I've always understood that to be the case, but it still feels to me like an overreach--and one that could easily spin out of control.

I know this topic is a bit of a powder keg, but let's take an extremely perverted example of this ...  Imagine if these same establishments wanted to prohibit a person's rights under the 4th Amendment, or the 5th?  Now, one can certainly (and correctly) argue that each amendment stands alone, and has it's own set of restrictions and applications.  But for two centuries, we believed that the 2nd Amendment was unassailable.  Boy, is our face red!   :-[   It's fair to say that without the unrelenting efforts of the NRA, one can only imagine what "rights" we'd still have under 2A--if it even still existed!

Either the LCP or the Tomcat Pearce grips will fit the magazines of the Guardian .................... I checked last night and found it is the Tomcat plates that fit best .... cosmetically that is. The LCP plates have a thicker frontstrap piece of plastic on them that will not allow a smooth transition from mag to the front strap of the Guardian. The Beretta Tomcat base plates are a little bit thinner allowing a flush fit with the front strap.

Technically a private property owner can prohibit your 4th and 5th amendment rights. They cannot force you but they can restrict you from their property if you do not submit to their wishes.

Lots of clubs have the bouncers frisking or wanding patrons as well as searching their bags/purses before allowing entrance. You are voluntarily submitting in order to gain entrance. If you do not want to submit you can choose not to enter. Same with TSA at airports.

Well Rogue, I got the grips and will post a picture of both grips so folks can see the different in width.  I got a single Pearce Grip extension from a guy on ebay who advertised that I would get an original package and the picture showed more than one extension and floor-plate.  Paypal is deciding if they will give me my money back, probably won't though because I have not had much luck with Paypal. :(

So pix of the grips tomorrow. ;)
