Well Jim, I don't know either.  I did try and I made sure everything was where it should be but it just didn't work. >:(0

Avoid PMC and ARMSCOR ammunition.

I have seen this before but never knew why?  Are they not powerful or too powerful?  Or is it something else?  I don't have any of the stuff but I guess I am curious.

They say there is a danger that more than one round may fire when you pull the trigger. The correct round and those on the sides of that round may ignite. Ouch!

Congrats Warty they are beautiful. Strange thing about the grip tho.

One more for boot grips fitting perfect, mine went right on and fit is outstanding. They are a new set of engraved boot grips from NAA this month.

Curiouser and curiouser ...  ???
So, making guns illegal will take them off the street?
Perfect!  We should probably make heroine and meth illegal, too!

Yeah, I wonder why Warty's didn't fit, but Bigbird's did ...  Strange.

Makes no sense, can't believe NAA changed the grip profile?  But at least the ejector question seems to have been answered.

Warthog

Maybe the grips weren't cut right?  I really don't know but I know I put them on it correctly and they didn't fit properly.

Warthog

Well, still no charge and no notice, so I'm guessing Rangers won't be under my tree. My birthday is next week, so maybe I'll get them for that. I don't even know if NAA is open today, or maybe not even next week.

So, I'm wondering how they picked the order. I'm thinking maybe it was he order you signed up. I jumped on the deal right away when they first announced the order page, but when that first order was voided, I took longer to order the second time. I'm thinking now maybe that's why I haven't gotten mine yet. Bummer. Oh well.

Just added the Engraved Boot Grips to my Ranger II and they fit perfectly. Tried to post picture, but keeps saying the file is too large?

MtGoat

Warty,

Try the grips on your Bugout and see if they fit the same.
If they do they the boot grips were cut wrong.

The BT I have been playing with has an aftermarket set of grips that fit fine.
Maybe we now know why they trashed a bunch of frames ?????

Have to say that the boot grips look great on the Rangers.

i am surprised that the people who ordered two conversion model EB's are not getting consecutive numbers. I wonder why.
I don't know why two rangers are not received with sequential serial numbers, but I have a guess about that.  NAA may be trying to send out as many as possible as quickly as possible.  For instance, maybe a batch of 10 rangers have 4 that do not need timing adjustment so those are quickly sent out even if not having sequential serial numbers.  The other 6 will be sent out after the timing adjustments are completed which delays things a bit.  Just a thought.  For someone that ordered two with both having conversion cylinders, the timing adjustment need could be involved with which ones go first.

heyjoe

very possible......or they could just go down to whoever packages them in a group and they just grab whatever one is closest and put them in the shipping box....who knows

While you could be correct, they could still have held back orders for those buying two, to get sequential numbers, and shipped the others to those only requiring one. It would still be the same number out of the door and those who thought they would get sequential numbers based on previous EB's, could have got sequential numbers. The amount apparently shipped this week must have been pretty low with only 4? forum members getting a notification.

That idea I like because I only ordered one.

Don73

I know when I talked to a lady at NAA about an accessory she noted that serial numbers for the Ranger II's did get a little out of sequence when they had the bad batch to scrap.

PaducahMichael

There was some talk about naming Rangers. I didn't think I would, but I have given mine names. Also took a photo of one with his big brother. not a great photo - will work on a better one.

The names? Here's a clue

Comparing Warty's grips on his with the engraved BG on the last picture it appears that Wartys just are not seated all the way on there is a gap at the bottom, and they don't sit as far up in both the inside and at the top...

Two boxes.

I put boot grips on one of mine to get ready for carry and shooting it.

Very nice! I ordered a the engraved boot grips for my Ranger II. Thanks for sharing!

David Culp

I know my rangers are sitting at my lgs. I do have lower number of posts then some that are still waiting. I know they said they would ship randomly. I did order immediately when I got notified and reordered immediately when notified that I had to reorder. I am expecting my rangers to not be consecutive since the others receiving theirs in this batch are reporting the same. I would have been happy to wait longer to get consecutives. Maybe I'll get a pleasant surprise and get consecutive. I'll report and post pics when I do get mine.

Looks great with the engraved grips. I think there the best looking wooden grips NAA offers. Might have to get me another pair for whenever i can get a production Ranger II shipped my way!

redhawk4

I have some Pearl ones waiting for mine, but I think the engraved wood finish is where I'm headed.

No problem WESCOG.  I put these on it and I love them.  Shaved a little off the beak so the latch would be easy to work and VOILA!  I looked in my Parts Drawer and found I had some Eagle Grips I forgot I bought.  I will put the other set on my other Ranger II and that will be that.  They are larger than a regular grip, thicker.  It feels good in my hand and I imagine when I can go to the range next week the will shoot well too.
