It used to be a bit hard to find but I see it often at local stores.

Was in a shop yesterday and they had 5 boxes of 100 CCI shorts.

Boxes of 100 at the gun show have been $4.95  over the last couple months.    (I started buying the ammo before I bought the .22 short!) 

My shorty has only 10 rounds through it (it is so loud!) lol!!   

Setting up at gun shows we get to the ammo guys early so I buy a box or 2.  There must be 450 rounds now in the ammo can for it!

Plenty of CCI .22-Short at my local gun store. Was tempted to get some, but I already have quite a bit from years ago. You can't have too much ammo, tho!

That doesn't look like a 1 5/8" barrel. It looks like the standard 1 1/8" barrel. That's weird, I just measured mine & it is only 1" from the end of the cylinder to the end of the barrel. The push button on the end of the cylinder pin sticks out & would measure the 1 1/8". My .22 LR is almost 1 1/8" & my Freedom Arms is a full 1 1/8" although the design makes it look longer.
