I was trying to find a Laserlyte laser for my NAA mini revolver here on the website and saw that they're no longer listed. So I went to optics planet and it says that it has been discontinued by the manufacturer. So I went to Laserlyte's website, clicked the link, and was taken to an Amazon page that says the Laserlyte is no longer available, so it appears that it has in fact been discontinued. Does anyone know for sure? For me it was my only hope of aiming the mini since I just cant get the hang of aiming without a rear sight. Last time the top laserlyte laser was discontinued but shortly after the laserlyte grips were introduced for sale. Does anyone know of any knew laser products in the works for the minis?

From your research it sounds like they are discontinued. There may be some new old stock floating around. Maybe check eBay or gunbroker. Good luck with the search.

forget about the rear site just keep practicing using the top of the barrel to aim. start close to the target...2 or 3 feet and when you can do that...work your way back slowly. you will be able to get it.

Laserlyte is defunct. The balance of it was bought by Crimson trace. No NAA products from them as of yet.

Don't aim, just point it. And practice, practice, practice.
You won't be happy with a laser. On a larger gun
maybe, on a mini Naaa.

Laserlyte is defunct, but last I checked you can still find some on eBay. They don't seem to hold their settings for windage and elevation though. On the other hand, replacing the grips with oversized grips made a huge difference for me. The gun is still ultra concealable, but it falls neatly into a solid grip when I pick it up, and aiming it is much easier. You can get them on eBay also, or you can find them here:

Oh, and I've mentioned this here before, but here it is again. I saw a youtube with a fellow who uses a two handed grip with the small grips and gets surprising accuracy. He puts his thumb from his weak hand up the back of the grip, and wraps his good hand around the grip and his thumb. I tried it, and if I hadn't gotten the larger grips I would be using his technique.

Crimson Trace used to make lasers for the Guardians, but no more. Nobody makes a Guardian laser of any kind now.

What exactly is your aiming problem? Which model do you have?

I hope so! I'll give it a try without the laser sights one of these days and see how it goes.

Sorry, I can't help; mine are 22 Mags with improved grips..

Put some decent grips on your Mini and then take it out and practice just a tad and you should find yourself surprised by just how accurate these little gems can actually be.  8)

They do shoot where you point them with little to no variance .

Seems like a neat "gimmick" but in my opinion trying to fool with a laser on a .22 micro revolver for defense is just something else that can go wrong .

Like was said these little guns are the Kings of point shooting.   I practice shooting from the hip and just "punching " the gun out.  They are very instinctive to shoot.

I have a Pug with the really neat sights but besides helping to orient the gun at night I know I would never use these sights.  If you're trying to take a bead with an NAA Mini in a defensive scenario either you're shooting at some extreme freakish range and just throwing a hail Mary or you're just giving a bad guy time to stab/shoot/club you.

These are Pull and Pop guns.

I love the idea of Black Widow sized grips on a Pug , I may have to try this but those Hogue-like factory grips are pretty much perfect.    Maybe I'll have to just get a Black Widow :)

barrytheprof

I see the laserlyte NAA grips fairly often on ebay and gunbroker. I have one with pearl white grips that you can have for $50 plus shipping (which should be cheap given the size and weight).
Send me a PM if interested.

One need not take time to line up sights on a Pug. These are Big Dot sights; designed to place the dot on target and squeeze. With any kind of practice it will take no more time and quite improve one's shooting .............. even at close quarters.  8)

Just an FYI, Viridian is making laser grips for the magnums. They haven't been released yet, but will be available very soon.  The design/look is very similar to LaserLytes, but they have made the internal design a lot better and should actually hold at 0.  :) Happy shooting and hope ya'll are staying healthy!!

Jessica first thank you for your regards to our health's out here and second its truly refreshing to see your knowledge especially concerning your thought of the laser holding absolute zero . Most have no idea what that might be , thanks for your thoughtfulness and YOU stay healthy also  . ;)

  P.S. I knew you weren't blonde , HA . :):)

Thanks for sharing the news, Jessica!  I have a couple of the LaserLyte grip lasers (22LR and WMR), but they just seem a bit delicate so I don't use them much.  I look forward to seeing Viridian's new design.  In the meantime, stay safe and healthy!   :)
So, making guns illegal will take them off the street?
Perfect!  We should probably make heroine and meth illegal, too!

I hope they make them with oversized grips. Trading the larger grips for the laser is a tough decision. I could see staying with the larger grips.
I'm also working on my own solution for a laser and the BW grips. I'll have some pics soon.

Will there be any for the NAA Mini LR?

It's possible, but it won't be for a while if they do.  We do still have a couple of the LR laserlytes available, unfortunately none in black though. We have a white pearly color, a pink and turquoise.

Viridians will be a little larger than the laserlyte ones but not as big as the BW grips.

Canoeal

That should be a good size. Thanks for the update.

it's for a magnum, and it's used but in excellent shape. It comes with 2 sets of batteries, instructions and tools for installation and adjustment. They are pearl white grips. $50 + $6 shipping. PM me and we'll work out the details.
