Just an FYI, Viridian is making laser grips for the magnums. They haven't been released yet, but will be available very soon.  The design/look is very similar to LaserLytes, but they have made the internal design a lot better and should actually hold at 0.  :) Happy shooting and hope ya'll are staying healthy!!

Yours Truly!

That's awesome, can't wait to see what they come up with

Viridian now has the laser on their website, looks like a good design (but pricey!)

Website says aluminum, maybe that (sorta) explains
the price.
Somebody get one and give us a review.

Welcome.
Yeah, it must be an aluminum frame, with a rubber over-mold--probably similar to the feel/texture of the LaserMax:

DETAILS
Viridian's grip laser for NAA Magnum Frame Revolvers boasts a simple yet intuitive design and activates automatically when the user grips the handgun. Delivering rapid target acquisition when it's needed most, this grip laser features a highly visible red laser.  Easy to install and adjust.  Comfortable to grip and shoot with a rubber over molded design.
So, making guns illegal will take them off the street?
Perfect!  We should probably make heroine and meth illegal, too!

I don't think I would want it going on automatically, am I missing something in that logic?  I don't think I am necessarily ready for it to go on immediately.

Just found out about the Viridian lasers, nice to have an option, but only for the Mag frame? My preference would be to carry the .22 LR only mini because it's smaller and I don't see much benefit to .22 Mag in such a short barrel. The only reason I bought the .22 Mag/LR combo was because I wanted a fast reload by switching the cylinders like an 1858 Remington.

I'm gonna have to keep my eyes out there for a used Laserlyte instead as I doubt Viridian will make the grips for the small frame NAA's.

BJ,
I'm thinking momentary button(switch)
in the grip. Comes on with a firm grip,
on the grips.
That's how the laserlytes work.
The ones I have, you kinda need to squeeze,
to make them emit.
Luckily mine cost under $80, for me to find
out they're not for me.

My Pug came with a Laserlyte and I liked it, used it alot, until it failed. I sent it to Laserlyte and they repaired it under warranty. While I waited I bought a stock Pug grip and found my training with the Laserlyte paid off and really like the stock Pug grip. When I got the Laserlyte back from repair ( replacement?)  I took the batteries out and put it in my NAA box and there it sits. Make me an offer, somewhere in the neighborhood of 1/2 price and it's yours

The Pug is built on a magnum frame, right? That's not what I'm looking for, want a laser for the small frame (.22 Short or LR) minis.

burncycle

Oof. I know it takes money to develop and market a product but at that price I hope it's rock solid and stupid reliable... I like that the grips are rubberized like the original pug but I wish they had better pics on the site so we can see what we're working with.

burncycle

The site has new pics of the actual grip, quite a bit larger than the stock Pug style rubberized

Wumbey Goomba

With new pictures, it looks like an improvement
over the laserlytes.
I like the that it has two screws and looks
like it's set back, so it doesn't interfere
with cylinder removal.
Still hard to get passed the two bills.

I bought the gun made for a Laserlyte, the BW. I went and bought the venom laser, which in three different ones never did work right. Which is better to pay 150 for a laser that never did work, or spend 200 and hope this one does? After my experience, I am done needing a laser, and have learned to shoot what I am aiming at. I like good iron sights on a rifle too. Something once sighted, you can trust, and won't break. JMO

Beats telling a mugger, "Could you come back in twenty minutes? My battery just died...."

I've always viewed lasers as a training aid. You're amazed at how much that dot dances around on your first try. It can help you get a lot steadier grip.

while i can understand why some people put lasers on larger firearms, and if it makes them happy on NAA firearms, i just never really got it for myself for mini revolvers. i use the sights the gun comes with and keep practicing from close up to working further away, until i am satisfied with the result.

I want the new Viridian laser for my NAA .22 LR & Short. I'm encouraged by the fact that Viridian's CEO stated, "The Grip Laser for the PUG-D is a great start and there are some very exciting additions coming in the near future." Hopefully these exciting new additions coming in the near future are a laser for the .22 LR & Short.

CoachRyanSmith

Here's a set on eBay but you're paying up for a set.

I'd love a set just for the case, but not for that price.

Just wondering if anyone still has the laser grip for sale or know where to buy them. I have the 22 mag.

Will there be any for the NAA Mini LR?

It's possible, but it won't be for a while if they do.  We do still have a couple of the LR laserlytes available, unfortunately none in black though. We have a white pearly color, a pink and turquoise.

Quote from: barrytheprof on March-31-20 18:03
I hope they make them with oversized grips. Trading the larger grips for the laser is a tough decision. I could see staying with the larger grips.
I'm also working on my own solution for a laser and the BW grips. I'll have some pics soon.

Viridians will be a little larger than the laserlyte ones but not as big as the BW grips.
hi Jessica, do you still have the LR laserlyytes? i have a lr 22!!! regards.

Jessica Jarvis

Hi doughnut56,

I believe we still have a couple, please call the factory and the girls can confirm and take an order for you.
