So far as the black eBay grips maybe being printed, I looked at the listing again. The description sounds like they are molded from a mix of some sort of epoxy and carbon fibers, but that's not stated clearly. So, I contacted the seller yesterday and asked; no reply yet.

FWIW, I got an answer yesterday -

"They are 3D printed on a industrial grade printer with a nylon based material that has a chopped carbon fiber in it. The material is called onyx the printers I use are markforged"...
"If you get it and didn't work for it, someone else worked for it and didn't get it..."

Wow, those grips are pretty cool--I especially like the middle one with the finger ring. Great design!

No knuckle issues with 2 attorney's consulted as its really  just a enhanced grip .... but thanks for the concern.

I live in pa. I was always told brass knuckles and double edge knives are legal to own but only for purposes of collecting and must be kept home unless selling or displaying your collection. They are not legal to open/conceal carry. Are your grips legal to own in pa? Are they legal to open/conceal carry in pa? Would you provide a statement with the grip that say that its 100% legal to carry the ring grip in pa ? Then I would be interested in purchasing a set. Thanks

I also could be wrong about the brass knuckles and double edge blade thing but sheriff told he that was the law. People make mistakes so maybe 🤔.

I think it would be the responsibility of the buyer to know the laws of his own state. The seller can't know the laws for every place that people might want to buy his product . You should look up the laws of the state you live in and then decide to buy or not. 8)

I agree I should know the laws in my state and I am pretty sure I do. But he states that it?s not brass knuckles and he already consulted 2 attorneys. I feel better buying if it came with letter from his attorneys saying that it?s not brass knuckles in my state.  Being able to own them is different from being able carry them and a deal breaker.

Didn?t pistol braces originally ship with notes saying they where legal to own. Also some websites that sell magazine say they cant ship items to certain states and places because it?s illegal. Even when I order older firearms parts kit most sites say can?t ship to Washington and Colorado. If it isn?t legally considered brass knuckles and he has not 1 but 2 attorneys to back this up I don?t see why it would be problem to provide something that states that his company has that information.

I?m kinda really into them and was actually think for a while someone should make these but would be considered Knuckles. If he paid for 2 attorneys already then I would hate to pay more for legal advice then the grips would cost. Well I guess I wouldn?t pay for legal advice to buy an item is what I?m saying.  I know at least 2 others in my state that currently would not buy either.

I wanna get a pair mill out the grip area and insert dyed camel bone. 😍

I'm sure the seller is not going to give you letters saying its ok to own these , just for his own protection. If you buy then do something stupid and then you go to jail or something then you try to sue because he said its ok . Nope If I was the seller I'd just refuse to sell you anything, you want to much.JMOP ::)

I checked Nevada law, and the law states manufacture, sale, and carrying are banned for metal knuckles. Here in PA they are banned also. If these are not metal, them what is the point for? I thought I read it was for emergency rescue. A non metal window break? Sounds like a fail to me... Carbon infused nylon, like G-10 won't break any car windows.
As to whether or not it qualifies as metal knuckle, the manufacturer says no, so I hope he knows.

Any scenario thats involves us old guys , heck anybody ,getting in a hand to hand combat I myself will get myself killed and or maimed anymore . The gun is used for that closeness not some modified grip . Looks only is what I would use such a thing for ,ONLY .  Lets think realistically instead of dreaming some of t.v. scene , enough of the silliness please .. :o ???  8)

I never could get it. So far as I know, you can walk down the street with a baseball bat, but not knuckles.

I?m with Ov,
If that thing is brass knuckles.
Would not a stout ring, a tiny bit pointy
also be brass knuckles?
Something like a diamond cut stone on a
class ring.

That type of ring is what ihave on my right hand ring finger, except it is a job ring not a class ring

Every definition I've seen of brass knuckles or metal knuckles specifies "knuckles" not "knuckle," as in, a hard object linking the knuckles together.  A single knuckle would just be a ring.
