Made it myself for my Ranger II 2.5" barrel.
It has both a belt loop and a belt clip.

  Nice job you've done there . :)
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

Well done !

Now, all it need is a large NAA" stamped into the flap, similar to the "US" on military flap holsters.

Be careful if you follow the masses - Sometimes the M is silent

I intended this to simulate a civil war era holster and considered putting "US" on the flap.
After considering that the schofield revolver design was post civil war I decided against it.

Very nice quality and look. One in black leather would be my preference, or maybe even some basket weave, but then I'm an old codger.
you may not need it but you should have it

Nice looking holster, but why both a belt loop and a clip?

Clip to your undies when you're running around the house without pants! Most jogging shorts don't have belts either.

As a newly designated official NAA Gun Fumbler, I feel qualified to comment that a flap on a clipped IWB holster would be exceptionally fumbly.   :D

Gnomie,

This holster was more of an experiment as a first time leather project and not intended as a "quick draw" personal defense item.
The reason for the belt loop and the clip is this...
I wanted the clip for the ease of attaching and removing the holster from my belt.
The purpose of the belt loop was to provide a flat surface to sew the clip to the holster.
The curvature of the molded leather on the back of the holster made it difficult to attach the metal clip.
As far as being "fumbly", that is not an issue. It is not an IWB holster, it was intended to replicate an 1880's flap holster.
The clip is just a modern convenience.
