I was wondering how many people besides me carry their NAA Mini as their Primary CC Weapon.

TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

Sometimes I carry just the Pug or the B.W., other times I carry something else. Just depends.

Only my sidewinder now.  Actually only gun I could get away with.  It will never print.  And it's cool.

OV-1D

Steve : With that logo for a call name I would have thought 45 ...............well you know . But flint that would be different . :) :)

Normal day, every day, around 37 years, same gun. NAA 22L.
Other guns a lot but not always. Mini Always

My EDC is a Rock Island Armory 1911A1 CS 3 1/2" officer model (slightly modified).  I carry a 22WMR Mini as a backup.
Both ride in holsters of my own manufacture.

Still carry the BW as primary.  I'm considering adding a S&W 351C and moving the BW to the other pocket.

RogueTS1

Carry it pretty much everyday but not my primary. Also carry the Walther TPH and either customized Glock 23 in 9mm or a custom Springfield 1911 as my primary.

Thats what I'm talkin about those 1911 boys . Just one unload into the rafters shakes to dust out and makes anyone pay attention a little better .

It is up to where I am going to be.
Everywhere I go there is 2 mag minis.
I add 380 or 9mm if I feel the need.

It is rarely my only gun. Years ago, before the "gun guru experts" coined the phrase "two is one, one is none" I carried at least 2, and when working, as many as 4 (counting my mini). On those occasions I have only the mini, I consider it my "Excuse me while I get my gun from the truck" gun.

1967-
Is that gold colored "pen" a Colt tear gas pen? I have one in the shop, but have no clue what it is worth. Do you?

Who makes the black flashlight?
Guns are a lot like parachutes:

Yes a Old colt , legal as they don't work with any " fixed ammo".

I carry the mini daily.
We also have a Smith and Wesson 38 special we have at home.

*I say I carry daily but until I get my concealed weapons permit, I am not carrying anything. Getting permit this month.*
Love my little mini almost as much as I love my hubby!

I carry the BW everywhere. So far it is all I carry.

But I am considering one of the Charter Arms undercover Lite 38SP for when I am not working.

When I am working I work in Dental Offices lots of them. I can not let them know that I am packing heat. Now on my off time I could carry the 38SP on my belt with a loose shirt and the BW still in my pocket.

Must admit my 1 5/8" 22m goes with me every time and everywhere. But some areas of Houston require three pistols, two flash grenades, two smoke grenades and two regular grenades, a bulletproof vest and a automatic shotgun loaded with 00buck I want the incident report to read, 12ga.00buck,1st shot cut him in half, second made him a crowd.:)

Not here for a long time, here for a good time!

jjccamis

For daily carry, I alternate between a .22 mag and a BW .22lr.  When at home there's a Mossberg 500, 16 inch barrel, 2 #4 buck, 2 00 buck, and a slug.  Confidence.

RogueTS1

jj; is the 500's barrel actually 16" and stamped as an SBS or is it a federally legal 18" barreled gun?

ArmedPatriot

Just depends.
If Im going golfing or just running out for bread and milk the NAA is my primary.
If Im going out a lot for the day running to different places my Ruger SP101 357 magnum is primary and the NAA 22mag is my BUG.

My EDC  for now is a G29 (10mm is awesome) plus a S&W 442 in my front pocket and a NAA 22lr in a neck rig, also carry a buck 110 auto knife. In the car have a ruger sp101 357mag in door Pocket.

Rogets,  My bad!  The short barrel is actually 18.5 inches, labeled Mossberg and legal.

RogueTS1

Too bad; a short barrelled shotgun is awfully nice in the house.

jjccamis

Agreed.  When I bought it, it had a 28 inch barrel.  An 18 inch barrel is far more manuverable around tight corners and doorways.  Less length for a perp to grab hold of.  Shot certainly opens up quicker.  More like the old scatter gun.

RogueTS1

Agreed. Only thing better than an 18 inch barrel on a shotgun is a 14 inch barrel. LOL............

I voted backup.

I carried my NAA for awhile as my primary, but never felt entirely sure of it.  It doesn't help that it's the 1 5/8" magnum with no rear sight.  I always kick myself for not holding out for a Black Widow instead.

Nowadays, my go-to favorite is my stainless S&W model 60 (J-frame .38 spl).  While I do have auto pistols in larger calibers and greater capacities, I generally don't feel the need for them, unless I've got to go somewhere sketchy (and I try to avoid such places).

You can save up for  BW  you now that they like to have other minis to keep them copany I think thats why I have 5minis now

Sadly, I cannot.

Unfortunately, the Black Widow is not on California's roster of approved handguns.  Through a loophole, I can get a Mini-Master, or one of the other long-barrelled models, but I can't get the BW because the barrel is too short.  I'll have to wait until I can get out of this socialist hellhole before I can get one. >:(

keyman

On most days I'd say it is a backup, but realistically probably only 40/60 to other primary carry pieces.

Dinadan

I almost always carry two Minis, so the Mini is both my primary and backup.
