Hey all,

New to NAA forums.  Mostly just wanted to ask a question.  I'm looking to buy my wife a pink pearl (shes a girly girl) handled BW in .22mag.  I see that you can buy the grips on the NAA site but I've been looking everywhere for the actual BW and everyone seems to be sold out.  Literally EVERYONE.  In all NAA models.  Every web site I can find.  So my question is:  Besides the buy/sell section of this forum is there anywhere you can actually buy an NAA gun?

Thanks in advance.

I'm in Wa State, been to every gun shop within 10 miles of my house.  Nothing.  Half of them have never heard of NAA.  The rest nod knowingly and apologize for not carrying anything by them.

I wanted a NAA that wasn't linked to me and kept waiting. Have you tried http://www.gunbroker.com/ that is where I bought three of mine, took awhile to get the price I wanted.

Welcome to the board!

If you can't find one locally, you can always try GunBroker.com, but you'll have to pay FFL fees and shipping costs. That may inflate the price, but at least the selection is better.

Right now I can find only two:

Elections have consequences. Obamie is buying up the bullets so he can come kill us. Get a grip.

You are lucky.
There is only one gun shop within 10 miles of my house and only 2 within 25.

Your both lucky. 45 miles to the close one, 55 to the next 2. I live in a town with 12,000 people there is no gun stores. There is a Wal-mart who sometimes has some ammo. I did hear yesterday that the Macs Hardware here has Remington bricks for $50 bucks.
That will cost them in the end..FT..

LGS near me has a counter full of the little NAA's. He is just recovering from the craze and has more than a few of different selections on his shelf last time I went to pick up a purchased pistol.

Why, do you believe they  are gouging or charging a price relavent to supply and demand ?
I have no idea how many gun stores are within 50 miles, I'm guessing less than fifty. I live in the South, God bless us rednecks, which is a term from out of the coal mine wars according to the History Channel

Defense of "price gouging" based on "supply and demand" says that "I get more money by charging too much and waiting for a sucker to pay it."

That isn't a distributor, that is a private proprietorship capitalist. A distributor moves by volume, not by waiting for a sucker to rob. A distributor wants to move more units, not wait for someone to rob.

$50 for a small bulk pack .22 is obscene.

No Kidding. I thought the buying frenzy was dying down, until a few days ago I saw a local listing for a Federal bulk pack of 550 rounds listed for $60. I guess people are buying, though, or else the listing prices would likely be lower.

Seeing gun sales are at a all time high everyone is taking this gun and ammo issue very seriously . Something is diffinently in the wind not like the last election . I would bet , the way the economy is , prices are not going back down much . Would like to see who in government is investing in this world of ours , guns and such , because they're making a killing with sales , Cheney and others maybe , again .
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

Well, I guess there's some good come of it. I mean, the gun world out there is galvanized now. We're more organized and more passionate than the opposition right now. And it seems we are winning, except for a few states here and there that are jumping on the Cuomo bandwagon.

My brother, who has been passively into guns since we were kids when he used to go pheasant hunting, is now into buying what he can, in case he loses his chance. I think that's happening all across the county. We are gaining membership, while the other side is waning and getting discouraged. I could get my brother to go shooting occasionally, but he was only interested in shooting MY guns. Now he wants his own.

This is not like 1994, when congress sneaked in the Clinton gun ban. In fact, I never even knew about it, until one day I was in a sporting goods store looking for a hi-cap 10/22 magazine and the guy said I better get it while I could, before the ban came into effect. I was surprised and confused, but I got the magazine. ;)

We learned from that ten-year debacle and I we'll be damned if we let it happen again! Good for us!

I bought mine at Cabela's about a month ago.  They had them in stock.

heyjoe

i get tired of the defense of price gouging also.  if you clean out the shelves of walmart everytime they have a shipment come in and then sell it on gunbroker for 4x the price then you are a price gouger and are part of the problem.
It's too bad that our friends cant be here with us today

I shoot a lot of 22s. I have been getting enough to keep right on shooting. With the help of my wife and friends I could have enough more ammo to be a hoarder. By not buying more than I need it leaves some for others. I pass up bulk packs at reg price and go to a gun show and see them for $50-60 bucks. What happened to treat people like you would like to be treated. Greed???

As for the post I made above about Mac"s selling bricks of 22s for $50, thats their right. In the end, they lose my business.
Good trade?

Kentucky Kevin

I ran into an old friend from Cowboy shooting that was moaning about reloading and 22lr, told him I'd sell him some. Called my reloading supplier to check prices, he said nothing available. Surprised that primers (1000 sm pistol) only went up $5 in four years, while 22(550) went from $20 to $40 went to the LGS they had nothing and confirmed the prices. I did tell the gentleman to not tell anyone as I have no desire to sell what might not be replaceable.
