Great collection.

I am a bit confused though.

You say that for carry on your Sidewinders you use the Vang grips.

I looked on his website and eBay auction and they both say his grips do not fit the Sidewinder.

Please tell me they do for because I thing the swing out cylinder and Vang grips will be a great combination.

You need to alter the cvangs to fit the sidewinder. Either remove the cvang recoil shield completely. Or file it out to fit to the sidewinder's recoil shield like Uncle Lee did.

Yes, I used a half round file the same shape as the recoil shield and filed off just a little that touches the recoil shield and they fit perfectly.
If I couldn't use Cvang grips, I wouldn't carry it.
I can control the little minis so much better with those grips on them.

From your description it does not seem like it would be hard to get the cvangs to fit so long as I go slow and try them on often?

Since I have your attention. How much larger is the Sidewinder then the regular .22 Magnum Mini? Maybe a side by side picture?

I have the CV grips on my Wasp. The EDC is with the mag. CV's make a huge control difference.

Here is how I filed the Cvang grips to fit the Sidewinder.

Looks like you did not have to take much off. Pretty much took nothing off the outside edge huh?

It is taken off the inside corner.
When you get close, take a stroke with the file and check fit. Don't take off too much.

  I'm with Unc on shaving these pieces due to paying good money for the most of what you can keep . They do look good even with the frontal section removed also but a little dremeling works fine and more stout looking .
