Hi all.

New to the board and waving hello.

Does anyone have pics of their Sheriff with different grips on it?

Also... whose holsters have you found for the Sheriff?  I don't see many made for this particular model.

   Thanks.

The wife and I are new to these mini's so we will probably be posting now and again.

We were lookin' for something a little easier to carry than the full size rigs we have and these look like the fix.  Plus they are going to be fun to shoot.

They also look like they may possibly have addictive properties... but we're strong. We will stick to the two we have...

   Won't we?

Welcome!!  I don't have the sherrif model, I chose the standard mini Magnum with the 1 5/8 inch barrel.  I would think that any grips (of the correct frame size) could be swapped onto your Sherrif model.  Likewise any holster made for the same frame and barrel length could be used.

So far I have kept the mini count to one, but I can feel others coming...

First, to you and your Bride, Welcome to the forum!

Don't have a Sheriff that I shoot, but here is my 3" Earl (and a cousin):

The grips are made from Corian. They are very smooth, but I like them.

Strength or not, you will not be able to resist for long. It seems nobody can.

Thanks for the welcome!

   Those Corian grips are nice.

Yeah, I was kidding in the earlier post about these little guns being addictive... they are!

I have known about them and seen them for years but it never dawned on us to actually get one.

It's the darn hot weather carry this year that got me looking for something easier to conceal and one the bride can stash in her bag and not be bulky or heavy as what we usually carry.

With enough practice and focus on shot placement, like anything else, I'm confident with these little buggers. They are fun too!

Louie, the Sheriff with Chong wood grips looks totally badass like from a sci-fi Western.

Wdy, I like those laser grips, too.  They go well with the Sheriff.

Doid-

When you and your Bride get ready for your next Mini(s) have your dealer order sequential serial numbers. Depending on who he gets them from, it will cost him between nothing and $25.00. It is just neat (to me, anyway) to have ABC123 and ABC124, especially if it costs nothing extra.

If you want something truly yours, call Jessica at NAA (Customer Service Manager), and order just about anything they make in almost any configuration, including custom serial numbers. You could do your initials and wedding day/month and on the other do the wedding day/month and her initials. Of course, if things were to go south at some point in the future, you may have an unsaleable gun you may not want. You could always do the initials and day/month of birth. I suspect you will come up with an idea you like better, which is the purpose of the Curious, Custom and Collectible: To give the customer a truly personal gun.

Thanks Grayelky.  Good ideas.

I did not know NAA had customer service like that.

   That is pretty cool.

grayelky

No problem. I don't mind helping you spend money......

Here's a shot of something you sadly can't spend your money on any more: walnut Chong grips. Mine are hand oiled with tung oil with the grain left open because I like how wood feels.

Just ordered a Sheriff, has anyone seen any good kydex IWB or OWB holsters for it?

Thanks

Uncle_Lee

No on the holsters.

This is an old thread.
I have my Sheriffs.

Hmm must be me I only see the last picture.

I love these STOCK grips I do not know if anything is better out there. These are just plain comfortable to shoot with my meat hooks!  ;D

Ordered the chong grips for the black widow and there on there way, we'll see how I like them before ordering a set for the sheriff. Just got a response from lost river holsters last night, and he said he could make me up a kydex holster for the sheriff. Will post results when I receive the holster. Didnt want to bring out an old thread, but didnt see the point in starting a fresh one. Thanks for the pics.

louiethelump

Concealment holster solutions makes a pocket holster for the sheriff and Joe's holster for the 3" Earl for on the belt works fine for the 2.5" sheriff.

How do you guys like the cylinder pin on the sheriff? As good or better than the black widow?
-Thanks

louiethelump

The Sheriff is the more highly evolved pin. FAR superior to any of the earlier types.  It locks securely, unlocks easily and looks like it should look.  By far easier to use than any of the others.

Can someone show or tell me how that pin disengages  . It looks to be a point that would hang up on a holster draw . Thus disengaging the pin . Been kinda leary about buying because of that feature.
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

Louie's Sheriff sure is a fine looking gun.

Wow.
