NY carry is the way I go.

I don't neck carry. Something about the end of the barrel pointing under my chin.

Pocket holster covered, not sure on the neck holster thing. Cheap enough to give it a try I guess...

95% of my carry is pocket carry, it's the only comfortable way for me to carry for everyday activities and I literally forget I have a gun there, sometimes I have to check in case I left it at home.

Everyone is free to choose as they will, but personally I don't think having things around your neck is the best idea. If you carry it's because you accept the possibility of some sort of attack, if things get physical it's better to not have things around your neck IMO,that can get grabbed, even unintentionally if someone makes a grab at you, or tries to prevent you getting away by grabbing your collar from behind.

I have never tried neck carry with a Mini. Based on my experience carrying cameras, monoculars, compasses, and so forth on a neck strap, I am not a fan of neck carry. I just do not like weight hanging from my neck. When I carry a camera or monocular on a neck band I usually stick the thing in the chest pocket of my shirt and the lanyard just keeps if from getting lost if it falls out.

Still, no reason not to try it if you want. I have seen some photos of neck holsters somewhere around this site.

...just don't know where else to carry a 2nd. 1 front pocket for 1st Pug, the other for keys, watch pocket for hearing aid batteries and 1 glucose tablet after low sugar episode, back left for my wallet, back right for handkerchief and Benchmade Mini Griptilian with deep carry clip. OWB/IWB holster is a no go as I strap tools on my waste for work, shirt pocket- tactical pen and pad for work notes. Ideas?

Never tried to neck carry and do not intend to. Pocket carry a Black Widow every day and looking for a 2nd which will be either a pocket or maybe a belt carry.

I wear Wellington boots most of the time when I go out. For years I carried a LR Mini in my right boot. That works very well, though I have slacked off on the second Mini for some reason. NAA sells an ankle holster. I have never tried it, but I would go for that over a neck holster.

Right Rear Pocket has the real estate for a Pug, Knife & Bandana.

Pocket Holster with the knife sheath instead of extra shells. I carry "Back Pocket" with a Bandana (Photo: Rt Rear Pocket has a Pocket Holster with a 1 5/8" Magnum in it with the Bandana)

Just a thought.  I would need your knife to get a perfect fit.

Get a "man purse" to carry all your "needed supplies" and you will have more empty pockets.

I use a man purse in summer sometimes for cell phone and extra stuff.

Sometimes the extra stuff is a j-frame and a speed loader.

In the winter I usually carry that j-frame in my right coat pocket.

I try to keep stuff out of my pants pockets except for mini in right pocket and knife in left.

Just don't forget and leave your coat or your man purse while you do x, y, or z, sucker has to stay with you.

No neck carry but pocket carry is a regular thing with me. I have an assortment of well made leather pocket holsters to make it work well.

PS: the "man purse" thing or "military messenger bag" as I like to call it,  ::), works very, very well indeed. I have a secondary on my belt or my pocket with a reload and then the bag carries a primary with two reloads, an extra 30 round mag for my long gun, a flashlight, my keys, wallet and phone as well as a few other niceties here and there. Very comfortable and easy way to lug all that stuff around.  :P

Pocket carry my Sidewinder and rear pocket my 9mm.

I use UnderUps (suspenders) under my shirt to hold up my pants (four (4) clip kind; the two (2) clip kind bite me under my arms). (www.holdupsuspenders.com).  Love these suspenders.  My wife likes them too, as she says I have enough habits and wear my clothes like an old man; I don't need to add suspenders to my getup.  I wear them with jeans, dress slacks, and sweat pants/shorts.  For me, it beats a gun belt!

NAA is one of the few that perhaps would work two-to-a-pocket... Rick? Custom holster to hold two Pugi, maybe one higher than the other for grip clearance?

Forget neck, I'd suggest ankle or inside boot as better. I had a sideways ("driving") holster I kind of liked, tho, the combo of that with pocket might be workable.

That would be an interesting project! Multiples of Pugs = "Pugi" I like it! lol!  :o

I will put that in my R & D folder for sure.

Fanny packs are great for all sorts of things , its how I carry my Kimber after I took the nylon belt off and slip it on my belt now , holds it tighter to the body and waist high  . I'd rather have some snap buttons instead of a zipper but its still quick to draw like it is .

I carry a 1 1/2 inch mag or a 32 guardian in kydex neck holsters at times.  I find them almost unnoticeable to carry and handy to get at.  Keeps my pockets free!

Welcome allisca!  Like others, I'm not too keen on the barrel pointed at my head.  Do your neck holsters carry muzzle up?

I would not do the muzzle up style either.

If I was skinny I wouldn't carry around the neck muzzle down. The way the belly is, the bullet would have to penetrate 12-14" of fat to get to the important parts.... 8)

I pretty much only pocket carry my minis. I use Sticky Holster's magazine sleeves to hold them in an upright position for easy draw. Since they're so small and single action minis are the only guns I don't worry about having something share a pocket with them.
I have a neck holster, a horizontal one, but the weight of a magnum model eventually gets a bit much on your neck. The parachord that is usually used is too thin and abrasive
I've actually turned the neck holster into a shoulder holster. By itself the gun will slide off your shoulder eventually so I use another piece of parachord tied in a loop through the neck holster's supplied chord and over the opposite shoulder forming an X across my back. Over a t-shirt I forget I have this on.

my neck holsters both carry with the barrel horizontal.  the trigger is completely covered, no more dangerous than any other holster in my opinion.

If I did neck carry I would use dog tag chain, ie the break away stuff.

I too have used neck holsters like this for my NAA LR and even a KelTec 32 (usually when I am piddling around the yard wearing shorts with no pockets).

...so for now I've decided to revert back to my original carry method from 23 years ago when I got my concealed carry permit. I was into BMW motorcycles at the time and have 2 small leather fanny packs with BMW embroidered on them. I shaped foam to fit in one of the pouches and cut out for my only handgun at the time, a S&W 640 j frame. This way it wouldn't print and no one ever guessed it was there and I could easily access it. No BMW anymore so I got a Sportster patch and had the local seamstress sew it on over the embroidered BMW logo ($3.00). Cut out the foam and presto change o, an inexpensive 2nd gun carry method that I used as only gun carried for years long ago. Pug 1 stays in the pocket.
