Anybody know if someone makes a Kydex or Leather holster with a clip like the ones on Hawg Holsters "Utiliclip" ?
I'd like to have something real thin and small that will securely clip to my pants waist band or to my pocket.

I can not seem to find one with a good quality clip and Hawg does not make Holsters for the Pug.

I won't carry a laser device... unless it has stun, kill, and disintegrate settings.

First....... Welcome to the Forum!

The first 15 posts are a hassle, just make a quick comment on a bunch to get through them. Everyone here knows your just going through the "drill".

You can post photos it will just be held up in moderation for a couple days.

Now, to answer your question......  :)

I can make a Holster like you are looking for.

A thin leather I use for holsters is Horse Hide. It measures about 4oz thickness (about half of my regular holsters.) Horse hide is very dense/strong.  It works very well for minimalist holsters and IWB holsters especially with a Ulti-Clip.

The smallest Ulti-Clip available is the "Slim 2.2" which is a little over 2.25" tall and a little over 1/2" wide. This would work well with the Pug because how small it is.

The Horse Hide is "Natural Finish" but can be dyed Black or Brown. The Natural Oil Finish would patina nicely with age and use (my favorite) but if the Black or Brown works best for you it can be done.

We are 2 to 3 weeks lead time for a custom Holster Build at this time.  I would need to order the Ulti-Clip, I recommend the small "Slim 2.2" for the Pug.

Feel free to contact me to talk over your holster, I'm glad to help if I can.

The Ulti-Clip has started being asked for a lot for IWB Holsters.

The advantage is, it will clip to fabric, no need to go over a belt.

The first one available was large (at least for NAA's) and worked fine for full size guns.  This new Small size works great with NAA's.

The "Hold Strength" is incredible! this will hold to Bandanna weight material with a Kung-Fu Grip!

I happen to know BigBird48 a Forum Member that uses one clipped to his Speedo's while on Beach Patrol in the summer.  :o
I won't mention any names..... He says he is getting a knee replacement but I happen to know he is getting a full body lift for a Play Girl photo shoot this spring.  Sorry... "Thread Drift"  ::)

Rick, does it clip to belts as well, or just thin fabric?

<grumble> <groan> Quit posting pictures of new holsters Rick! <more (excessive) grumbling> Now just take my money dammit!

Order placed for the above holster to fit a BugOut II without molding and adding thumb break type snap.

I need to ask my bank about setting up direct deposit to Desert Gun Leather.

It opens pretty wide.  They are stiff when you first get them, they are "stout" when grabbed onto something!

I'll open one tomorrow and check about belt width.  I know the larger one does. A Photo and full report tomorrow!

They hold tight on a Strippers G-String "Dancers outfit" well (from what I'm told by a customer that I made a holster for with this clip)  ::)

Bill,  your a "computer guy"  You haven't seen the leather Mouse Pads we make!  I usually make them about this time of year!

Holsters are just the tip of the leather iceberg of leather goods John and I make!  We don't promote other items because the Holster's keep us busy!

"Other items" are from "walk in" customers or people that know us and want something different.

Once in a while it is a nice break to make something different for fun.

I'll Post a Zipper Rifle Case that was just finished. We do a few of those around the holidays.

Ut oh.  BIG ut oh.  That "direct deposit" statement is starting to sound like something I need to setup.

Let me order a pair of these before you post the pics:

Thanks for the picture Rick.  That small clip might be handy for using the same holster for IWB and for a pocket clip if it will open enough for a belt too. It might even work for clipping the holster in my wifes purse.   I usually wear thin but stiff nylon tactical type belts, less than 1/8" thick.  Hey thanks for that visual on the "Dancers outfit" too.  For some reason, I can't get that one out of my head.
