Once in a while a customer will bring in a gun that really stands out.

So of course I take pictures so I can show my friends on the NAA Madhouse Forum!

I built a Holster for this gentleman for his Ruger Blackhawk, when picking that one up he brought this gun to show us.

The 1911 is "on loan" for him to evaluate and write an article on. (He writes for magazines)

The photos really don't show how beautiful this gun is. But trust me, it is. (note my finger prints all over it!) lol!!  ::)

I had never heard of this gun company before but take a look at their website!

https://republicforge.com

This gun is one of the guns on the website.

I have no affiliation with the company.  I'm just a fan of their guns!

Love that longer barrel for sure . Now if they made them out of titanium for weight purposes the 1911's would be the perfect weapon for carry ..  :)
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

Beautiful gun!

OK it could never be an EDC pistol for me.

I always think about "What if I did shoot somebody"  First thing the Police do is take the gun- even before putting you in cuffs.

Ask your self this: Do the Police put my pistol into a climate controlled area and check on it to make certain it is oiled and not rusting?

No, chances are it could be a damp room without proper ventilation since it does need to be secured for protection of evidence.
Yes your gun is now evidence and will be held until well after you are cleared.

Just my 2 cents.

Would I like to wear this thing to a BBQ in a DGL fancy holster to show it off?  HELL YES!

if you had to shoot someone to save your own life the vouchering of the 5000 pistol will be the least of your concerns. First it would have saved your life...certainly worth 5,000 and second you may well be shelling out a lot more than that in legal costs.

There's a bbq at DGL? I'm on my way. I'll be sporting my Pug in my DGL crossdraw.

I don't want one, nor will I ever spend that much on a gun I can customize myself for a lot less money.  Even if I were the richest man alive, stuff like this is for those who want to make sure the world knows they are there.

Probably going to get a RIA 1911 to go with the ones I already have though it will be a while.

Chattanooga is in Hamilton County just to our West. We live in Bradley County; Cleveland, TN.

Interesting. We do have our fair share of golf courses in the county.

It has been awhile, but I have only been to Cleveland for Perry Stone conferences.

I could see that BJ. We are after all the Buckle of the Bible Belt. We have a saying around these parts. "There is a church on every corner and two or three in between.  ::)
