How many guns in one purchase?

In messaging the seller of my Zastavas, I found out they have a couple thousand of them, their listing on GB just shows 25 at a time. They've been selling them for a couple of years. I wonder how many they've imported, total. Wow.

Virginia used to have a one gun a month purchase limit, but it didn't apply if you had a carry permit. It got repealed in 2012. Some discussion of it being brought back.

I got to thinking, if there is a legal limit for how many guns an ordinary person can buy? Could I buy 25, or fifty? Not that I would ..... ::)

I have bought 15 in a week in Arizona, no questions asked.

Paperwork was all approved in minutes.

You can but all you want but if you buy more than 1 in a week, There is another sheet that you must fill out. Unless this has changed, it is federal law.

I bought the first two Zastavas the same day. Just had to fill out the usual paperwork twice. Most I'd ever bought before was 2 in the same week.

you can buy as many as you want, the FFL just has to fill out another form if you buy more than two at once. However, if you buy a number of the same gun, especially in multiples at a time, expect a visit from ATF to see if you are in the business of selling them without a license.

Let me go outside and ask these suit and ties in that black Yukon just what they think of this matter . ;)  It's always a good idea to bring them some sandwiches and a cold drink especially when those black vehicle's get so hot in the sun even with the a/c going .   ;) ;)

My LGS would not like me needing a shootload of paperwork, even at $30 per gun!  Takes about 15 minutes, so he couldn't do but maybe 30 a day anyway... ::)

IIRC, there's a limit of 5 per form 4473, so more than that would require multiple forms [and a separate DROS fee per form, here behind the Granola Curtain; don't know how it works where you are.] I think the PRK has passed a 1 per month limit on long guns now too, so it would be only 2 at a time here now; it used to be that you could get the 1 handgun & up to 4 long guns on the same DROS [which I did once or twice] but I haven't bought any here in years so I don't know what the rules are like lately [too poor, and already have all I need.]

No limits that I know, beside the repealed 1 gun a month limit. It didn't apply if you had a carry permit anyway. Only other time I've bought 2 in the same month was on different days about two weeks apart. I had a brief fling with High Standard Sentinels, and they are long gone now.

That would limit one to only 12 guns a year and could make Christmas time awful boring. Christmas 2014, for example:  ::)

you can list multiple weapons on the 4473... if i find one i like, i generally buy two at the same time... (LCP II 22LRs, LCR 22)... the most i have ever purchased was four (HP22As), but they were only $140 ea at the time...

i think you might get a health and safety check if you have something like 45 Glocks on your form...
