In the interest of municipal safety, the wise leaders in Pleasanton, California, created a roster of "Saturday Night Specials" to prohibit firearms such as NAAs from sale within the city.

BTW, my comments above are sarcastic :)

Unfortunately the local roster and sales ban are real.

I think some of those are already out in CA.    They say they are unsafe. These lists are based on size not quality.NAA should NOT be on it. I have owned  #2 and #3. J22 and P380. Jennings and Davis were ATF "Ring of Fire" companies.Iffy at best.  They are cheep and badly made. Can go off if dropped.  Both are a junk casting and can crack and come apart. P380- Bolt face is pressed into the casting and can fall off causing the firing pin to fall out the muzzle. The slide face can crack and fall apart.  The J22 had a habit of going full auto. Don't know about the rest but NAA should not be on this list.

Thank you for the confirmation.  The NAAs really stand out to me as not like the others.  And the Black Widow is definitely not on our state roster of approved firearms so its inclusion on this city list is moot.

They banned the Bryco and Jennings J22, but forgot about the Jimenez J22?
Maybe they don't know what they are doing. ::)

So, the ban is only for sales of these items in the city? So you can buy one in your neighboring city and bring it back? Talk about a no-teeth city ordinance.

And what's the punishment if one is sold? Liberals are famous for not punishing criminals for offenses, so what do they do if you just ignore their bans?

Except that you can buy a Black Widow in the DPRK. All you have to do is find one that is already legally owned & you can buy it from the owner or on consignment. I have one, how much am I offered? Everything has it's price.

In this day and age, can a City ban a style of firearms?
Sure... in the wild west days it could happen and I could see a City prohibit where you could be armed, but to ban an entire class of firearms?

You know who Lauren Bobert is, right? The owners want to use the space for a marijuana shop. Wanna guess which way they lean?
You know how much work it would be to convert a restaurant into a store. Purely political and spiteful. I hope they lose their a** on it.

In a normal state, I suspect anyone who challenged the above list in court could win.

funny how the HP22A is banned... it is a made-in-Kommiefornia product (Ontario, just outside LA)
