Black grips for the .22 short

Where can I find the black smooth grips for the .22 short mini? I've searched with no good
results.

Wow! 24 views on this subject but no suggestions or answers. Finding these black smooth grips is a more elusive hunt than I imagined it would be. They are out there somewhere!

Have you tried NAA? The black grips were standard for years.

I want to say that NAA dropped them because they were plastic, and too many of them ended up breaking because people over tightened the screw.

I had a set of original NAA 22 short that laid in the safe for around 20 years. When I took them out to show them off, the grips on both were cracked and falling apart. They had never been touched by any kind of a tool what so ever.
At that time (1996), NAA could not supply a set of replacement grips so I went with wood.

Have you tried NAA? The black grips were standard for years.

  Naa has two types of black rubber grips the original type you can find on E-Bay . They are larger than todays type .Just a thought .

Okay then! I reckon I'll stick with the rosewood.

I made a few grips with the antler crown sticking out for better grip on those shorts and long rifle series .Second pair are petrified wood tough stuff to grind down . Making some out of wood would be a breeze .

Heres a picture of those discontinued NAA rubber grips . Even had them in pink .
