"Message from Gunbroker U Tube Reviewer"

The 560 is correct. There was an "Early Bird" release to people who knew about it. These were distributed before the balance was sent to the distributors. The 60 in the 560. First issue serial number was 61. The first 60 pieces were held as a control by the factory and they are still in full possession of 60 units. The first 60 were offered to the Early Bird recipients who wanted the lower serial numbers, so the actual serial numbers in posession by NAA is unknown. There WERE Specially designated serial numbers made for charity and promotional purposes. Again, this number is unknown as to whether it was included in the 560 total firearms made. So, to summarize, your information about 560 firearms is correct (as far as the public has been informed) The promised number of 500 pieces to be distributed was met i.e.61-561.

STARTING @ $2750.00. SHIPPING IS $50.00 INSURED USPS 3 DAY.

ANOTHER OWNER Had e-mailed ME Has #501 ""NOT FOR SALE"", but said, $3000.00, might be just about "RIGHT" Actually I thought NAA made 502 [I know now really 560 ].I now had a message [ sender talked to NAA & was told [ they made 560 "some" were pre sale. 5/4/2013 ]

NO Return #BT00094 [NEW IN BOX IF YOU GET, IT BECOMES Used, ITS NOT "NEW" if I send it out ] "

That is interesting Unc. Myself I have two and feel hard pressed to part with one even though the prices are out of this world but still it's a beautiful piece . Selling one can buy a heck of a lot of ammo or other weapons , mental anguish setting in .
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

MR_22

Interesting history, so thanks for that.

Mine are long gone and while I DO miss them, I haven't regretted it. I didn't get THAT much, though. :) It's always hard to know in the stock market when to sell and the sales price of these Rangers had mirrored the stock market trends fairly closely. Who knows if they are really worth that much, but if there continues to be buyers, they will continue to hold that value.

I am the guy with #501 I think I was a little misquoted but alls fair when your trying to sell a gun.

wd345

I have number 184 and carry it every day. Sometimes I think I should put it in the safe but my son said when he gets it he would rather know it was one I carried and used. I am not good at collecting just to put in the safe.  I sure do like this gun and hate they cancelled making them . I carry two  minis most of the time and would choose two breaktops but no way will I pay what another breaktop would cost.

Check out my new break top.  I just picked it up from my ffl today. I have been wanting one for many years and finally found one at a reasonable price.  It feels great in my hand , solid as a 1957 dollar in 1957. I hope that someday I will find a ranger breaktop to go with it that won't cost me the price of my next truck. Now if I can talk patriotjoe into making me a nice rig for it...

heyjoe

really nice gun. and 38 special too. very cool.

This one is the 5" .45, not the . 38.  I like .45's I have a Colt Peacemaker and a Vaquero birds head in .45 colt as well as conversions for my Ruger Old Army and 1858 Remington.  I use my Super Redhawk .454 to test my hand loads.   Come to think of it,  life is pretty good.    :)

heyjoe

45 lc now you have my attention! let me know how it shoots. is there a limit on which .45 lc ammo you can use in it?

Heyjoe the manual says to use regular ammo and discourages +p and +p+ as it might cause unwanted wear to  the firearm.  No requirement for cowboy loads although I will keep it under 250gr@1000fps. I hope to get to the range this weekend if it ever quits raining.

Scbuxton - that is a good looking revolver.

Sounds like life is going pretty well indeed! Sometimes when I stop and look at the guns I have, which is no large number compared to some folks here, I pretty much feel the same way. I wish Ruger had made one of those Vaquero birds head in .357 or .38.  I have a Vaquero .357 with a short 3.75 inch barrel and it is just a very fine gun.

I wish I had got one of the NAA Rangers when they were made. I did not even try since I was not very interested in a .22 magnum only mini. Still not, but I would make an exception for a Ranger!

Going to an local auction next week has a Uberti Schofield.  Love my BreakTops.

cfsharry

Have the Uberti Schofield in 44-40. Great gun. Well made, wonderful blueing and a solid shooter.  The instruction were quite clear to shoot only standard velocity rounds. Tried to include a pic but was told when trying to download the pic was too large. Second pistol I ever bought many years ago was an old US Arms five shot breaktop .32 in like new condition. Have always had a fondness for breaktops.

heyjoe

i was looking at a few Uberti Schofields today online 45lc. beautiful guns.
cfsharry did you try saving the picture to my pictures and then use the attachments and browse features on the page to post a reply?

heyjoe,

Huh?

I've actually got a simple photo editing suite on another computer and should have taken the time to resize the pics.
The Uberti is a quality piece.  Solid build, locks up tight and best of all, a really decent, old fashioned, mezmerizingly deep blue finish.  Not a cheap gun but, for me anyway, worth the price.

heyjoe

since the switchover in boards, none of the photos i have posted have been too big to post whereas with the old board i often had to resize them.

download the picture from your camera to your computer in my pictures. then when you want to post it just click on attachments at the bottom of the post reply page. click on browse. find the picture on my pictures click on it click on open then click on post

I actually think the Uberti is better made than the Custom shop S&W Schofield that came out several years ago.  Saw one at an auction, Uberti beefed it up a bit, which it needed to shoot reg ammo.  Hope I can get the Uberti at a good price next week at the auction.  Usually that never happens!

Here I go again.
Turning green with envy.
I have been wanting one of those Schofields made by Uberti since they started making them.
I guess I am going to skip buying a couple of minis and buy one.... 8)

I probably won't be bidding on one.
I am thinking about going ahead and getting a Kel-Tec KSG.
I am thinking that is going to be a "must have" before long.
The Schofield would be a "nice to have".

Nope.
It is the Zimmerman-Martin pressure.
If they don't find him guilty, there is going to be hell to pay.

Uncle Lee I hope you found a deal like I did. I have wanted a nickel Schofield with a 5" barrel in .45 since they came out with the Laramie.  They stopped making them a long time ago and I finally got lucky and won mine on Gunbroker. Took a long time but patience overcame.  Good luck finding yours. Mine is better than I had hoped for.  :)

I don't see how it could be possible that they would find George Zimmerman guilty. I have been following the trial..The prosecution has made a great case for the defense. It was clearly a case of self-defense. One question has never been answered (or asked), what was Martin doing in a gated community looking thru windows anyway? I think a community would be lucky to have a community watch on hand. I hope they don't cave in to misplaced pressure. The media has painted a false picture of this from the start. ( sorry if this is the wrong thread for this, but I just had to comment.)

They have to in order to protect the Country.
Total blackmail.
