What is average wait on Sidewinder from when ordered to receive.  Ordered thru local dealer in Aug.  Has any one ordered one and waited this long?

GunsInternational site has one (both cylinders) for $549 . Ain't too bad a price then shipping probably , gotta contact seller to see . There on the auction sites here and there . Good luck .

Scroller - another member reports that he just got a Sidewinder conversion that he ordered back in June. I have no idea about the average wait time. I agree that six months is a long time to wait.

I may be wrong but I saw one in a shop the other day with laser attached for like $459!!! I was not interested so did not pay much attention!!!

There is no such thing as an "average" wait time. Sorry. It all depends on when NAA ships them to the distributors, and your local dealers standing with his sales rep at the distributor. The only time he can predict the arival is when it is actually in stock at the distributor. I have yet to see a Sidewinder combo in stock.

If you grow impatient, you can always try the auction sites. Try to keep in mind the MSRP is $419.00. buds.com does such high volume, it may be worth your time to keep an eye on their site.

Good luck in your quest.

Welcome Scroller,
Last June I order a Sidewinder conversion at a local gun shop.
It finally came in a couple of weeks ago.
Good Luck.

One day is too long when you've got the "itch" that needs scratching but six months must seem like an eternity! :( :(

I forgot that I had ordered it.
One day an e-mail came that said "It is here and ready to go."
So I went and got it.
