It happen again.  I went into a new gun shop to pick-up some .22 LR ammo and they happen to have an unexpected beauty of a NAA Pug that I had not seen in person and it just would not leave my hand.  It a Pug mag. version with the Wasp cylinder and hammer design. What can I say other than it just fit my pocket.

I tried to call NAA today to get info on pricing and process to send my Pug for the LR conversion cylinders/timing service but they are gone to ShotShow for more than a week.  I know some of you have gone through NAA customer service as well as other sources but while I have read the reported prices for the others sources, I can not find any mention on what in general are the established NAA price.   Can someone help me out and give me a general idea what to expect...thanks!

I want to say it was $50.00 including return shipping but it has been years since I sent all of mine in to be retro fitted. It was not expensive at all what ever the price was.

Thanks every one who responded...

That what I was really hoping RogueTS1 to learn and appreciate your sharing your own experience.  I'm on my way to the range in a few to shoot my Pug for first time.  I hope it will be my favorite... ;)

edited later FYI:  NAA Customer service said if I go through my LGS the price is $49 + whatever fee my LGS adds. Or if I want, it can be overnight delivered to my door and that the price then is $79.

Got to say.. this Pug is absolutely my favorite NAA to shoot and carry.  The white dot sights gave me the best repeated pattern at even 10 yards I have shot.  So after side by side comparison using .22 Mag Gold Dots at 5, 7 and 10 yards with my Mini-1 5/8", BW, and new Pug ... for me the Pug is spot on for a 3" pattern of where I aim it goes.  With the Pug I was as good as I am in general shooting with my Sig P238 and I would not have believed that before.  Well, it was a very fun afternoon.

That's good shooting.
The Pug is good and small enough to carry in your hand when walking through a parking lot after dark.
That is what I do. Wifie walks in front and I walk behind pushing the cart with one hand and the Pug is in the other.
The ol hands are getting slow on the draw. Ready is better.

Uncle Lee, that is just smart and I will be doing the same.  The confidence I now have with Pug and its performance may mean I go shopping at Walmart at night again....or not.

Wifie DOES NOT go to Wal-Mart alone in the dark.

I agree...I would not even think about it other than our friend Boone here keep making me think about all that .22 LR ammo I missing out on cause he there all hour checking on shipments.  I just know I'm missing out on the mother-load while I'm paying much more than  8 cents a round.  But you are right...in my area, it's just not worth it either.  God bless us America!

Thanks for the sanity check Uncle Lee!  :-\

auburn--
A lot of the WalMart  stores don't put their ammo out till the following morning after it come in. You might want to check on that .
Keeps the working people from getting any, but helps the people that don't have a go to work job, who buy it and jack the price at gun shows and places like gun-broker.

That's right Rogue..do you think this guy has been shopping in Walmart's parking lot? USCCA https://www.usconcealedcarry.com/uscca-membership/index.asp?ID=Jan2015uscca&SID=Pros91_180EM6&kmi=

This organization had looked interesting to me before this promotion but this just made me turn around.  They played it a little to close to my hot buttons in order to sucker me in by this promotion no matter how good they make their product sound.  I could be 180 degrees wrong but they are playing on 1) I need MORE and MORE and more insurance, no matter what and without checking my own policies, and 2) they can get more than a TON in weight of .22LR and I get it but I have to really hunt to find it at a fare price. How is this right?  Sorry off topic I know...

If they have to tempt me with a chance to MAYBE win some free ammo it doesn't look like a good trade off. I think they are looking for that , there is one born every minute, fellow...

OH, I agree.

It's always when the times permit do all these opportunists come out of the woodworks . One thing though there is certainly a lot  of born yesterdays out there that can't wait for the next new thing and the far chance of a gambling win . No matter what I still fill out my Publishers Cleaning House entries seeing that I'm NEXT ! The state lottery already knows I'm a professional contributor ,  :) :) :) :) :) . FYI for closure...total cost from NAA was only $50 + $9 shipping.  Then in addition I had shipping to get my Pug & BW shipped out to them as well.  This was very high cause I was told by FedEx it had to be overnight as firearm required (????) plus small insurance =$36 then I had normal LGS FFL services fees only $25 for two guns (very nice guys) handling paperwork.  To me totally worth it except the exceptionally high FedEx charges.

Turn around time door-to-door was only 8 working days from UT to NC for this including the repair on 2nd Black Widow's trigger....great service.

That does seem a tad high.
Oh well, it is all over and you have your LR cylinder.
Have fun.

;D All good and NAA gave me the matching wasp LR cylinder for my PUG, I KNOW it's timed correctly and safe to go, plus the trigger pull modification they did on my Black Widow far exceeded my expectation....it's amazing how smooth and softer it is now compared to how it was....really happy about what all they did.  NAA charges were very good...very fair...it's just my shipping charges of getting the guns there which cost the bucks. But to me it was well worth it.  Just thought others needed to know so they could make informed choices..I like to when I can.
