Maybe so. I saw this picture on facebook froms someone that said they bought a .22 short and a ranger at the same time. I think it was the same picture as it is not a normal gun shop picture.  I wonder what's going on...

Yes, that's where I saw it too. He actually said he picked it up today. I looked and called a Gander mountain and they said they are in stock for online orders. I went ahead and placed an order so we will see what happens.

Thanks for the heads-up, Blue. Placed an order myself. Questioned the sales person . . . He confirmed it is the ranger. . . . Will see . Supposed to arrive Thursday or Friday. Ships on Tuesday.

  Might be confusing it with the Sidewinder , I've seen that happen already . Good for you guys if true (NOT) and bad for us multiple holders . You fellas sure need one , the best mini that's been made .  ???

Well, I bought one also. Talking to salesman, I asked if these guns were new, old stock (old stuff found in a warehouse somewhere) and was told that these guns are all new. Interesting...

Well let me know when one shows up and I will order one. If this turns out, it will confirm my thoughts some time back on being patient and sooner or later more reasonably priced ones would show up.

The item pictured is of a break top and not a sidewinder. and the description lists break top design.

  Again I wish you guys luck . It's gotta be old stock that was found if it's anything , BUT ! If nothing else you guys will get discount points for other stuff with an apology . Hope you get them I really do , I'd order a few if I were you guys . ;)

This here NAA website still lists the Ranger as out of production.  So, pick one or two:

A)  The NAA website lies.
B)  This was a bigger, better kept secret than the 4" Sidewinder.
C)  This is new old-stock at Gander.
D)  Gander is clueless as to what they are actually selling.
E)  There is a 32acp revlover in the works!

At that price, I would buy all in stock. (that is one time that I would use my credit card/cards)
Call me a non-believer if you want.
Cause that is what I am.

I think most if not all the Breaktops were sold before they were finished making them and the rest Sandy has used for gifts and donations.
Don't think for a second that NAA would have put them back into production without Sandy letting us know about it.

some are speculating that Gander mountain has found them in some warehouse,having been forgotten. This seems doubtful because of what you said. Most were pre ordered and not sent to distributors. Just a guess on my part, but I still rolled the dice and ordered one. Kinda like playing the lottery.

They have it on their site if you put NAA in the Gander search engine. It comes up as a new item.

 Deep down I believe this is some kind of an error and they really don't have the Ranger in stock. But I HOPE it's real.

I guess we'll see what's what in the next day or so as these orders go to the shipping stage.

  These places ...............it wasn't a mistake as much as it was a marketing ploy especially if they don't offer a discount ticket . Been there seen it , myself anyhow . They figure you already allotted the cash so why not buy something else kinda thinking .
  So what you guys going to buy NOW ? You gotta buy something to appease the spirit , it's only right . If it wasn't for the shipping I'd suggest GunBroker for something and the heck with Gander Mountain . :( :o ??? ::) :)

On GunBroker, figure the shipping cost into your final bid.
If it is too high just quit bidding.
I have gotten over 70 guns off GB and have been pleased every time but one.
I was new and didn't find out the shipping charge until after I had won the auction. The shipping charge was $55.00. That was the only time that I bid on anything without knowing the shipping charge first.

I've never bought a gun from Gander. Their prices are always way out of line.  The only reason I gave this a shot because I just saying to myself "you never know, and if you don't you will be sorry". Well this just makes me more sure I will NEVER buy a gun from Gander.

I've gotten a heck of a lot of guns from GunBroker , easiest site to buy from for sure , and your right gotta check those shipping and handling charges AND some of those bum sellers want a restocking fee if you send it back . Great selections on there also but everyone has to know every detail before bidding .  :)

  Have one right now I'm trying to get info for but no replies for multiple tries . Too pricey and can't find out even if it works or nor . Guess this guy isn't serious and it seems to be a third party sale which is kinda , well lets say not a good idea . ??? ???
