Good morning all (or afternoon)!  I know many of you are excited about the 2.5" Ranger, well... great news!  We have officially provided our distributors with pricing and part numbers. For those of you wondering, here are the new part numbers and retail pricing:

NAA-22MBTII250    $519 (Mag Only)
NAA-22MCBTII250  $639 (Mag w/LR)

Additionally, we've noticed the black, PVD exclusives for Davidson's has done fairly well, so we are introducing the "True Black Widow" with the PVD coating. Here is the pricing and part numbers for it as well.

NAA-BWM-PVD  $318 (Mag Only)
NAA-BWC-PVD  $353 (Mag s/LR)

We are very excited about these two models and hope you all are as well!  Sadly, the XS sights for the Black Widow have not gone as planned and very possibly may not happen :( ... But, we will continue to work with XS and hopefully come up with something in the distant future that will work for everyone.

Hope you all have a wonderful day and great upcoming weekend!

'Til next time...
Thank you all for your continued thoughts, suggestions and most of all SUPPORT!!

-Jessica & everyone at NAA!

Is the XS front sight still available, like on the Ellett Bros on a magnum frame? Or is that just special order or NLA?

Yes, those sights are still available and Jerry's & Ellett still purchase those models, plus those are the sights we use on the Pug. The XS sights that we were going to do, were a different design and had to be taller... I'm hopeful that one day we can figure out another solution.

Thank you Jessica.
Great news! A better looking gun for sure.
Have waited till the bugs were fixed then waited some more upon hearing a 2.5" barreled version was coming. Going to my LGS this afternoon to place an order.

%35 for the extra Black Widow cylinder & $120 for JUST the extra cylinder for the Ranger? WHEW that takes my breath away! You would have to shoot around three bricks of .22s to "save" that much. Could that have been an error? At least at those prices I don't have to worry if there will ever be a Kalifornia legal model.

Warthog

Cool, will want one of the 2.5 bbl Rangers eventually.  THANK YOU JESSICA!

Thanks for the update, Jessica. I am glad to see that those 2.5" Rangers are really in the pipeline. I was hoping to see a LR only model, and doubly so now that I see that the combo adds $120 to the price.

The cylinder for the RII is waaay more complicated than for a BW. Check the difference in the Sidewinder, as it too is more complicated. You need a different rod extractor set up...I am OK with owning the simpler guns...less to go flooey.
I won't try to make a gun meant to be a "Get off me" gun, into an AR pistol...

Boy that true black widow looks sinister!  But I have a question about care and feeding.  Can the usual solvents and oils be used to clean that PVD finish?

Warthog

Pretty sure the usual solvents will be fine for these finishes...

Just ordered my Ranger 2.5.  My LGS quoted retail so 519 it is.  Jessica do we have any shipping dates yet?  Really looking forward to getting this unit.  Now I need Rick to make holsters.  I don't find any YouTube on NAA at the shot show, can anyone help me out with that.  Was hoping to see the 2.5 on video.

Well if they got it right my FFL  just called and said my Ranger two 2.5 is in.  I'll try to get to the store in the next few days and post some pictures.

Once again, Ms Jessica has found a way to destroy my checkbook. Thank you for posting!

I guess I should have mentioned... We plan to start shipping these beauties in April, on the plus side of that... it gives ya'll some time to save some $$$ ;)

As for any videos, I am personally not aware of any yet. However, I'm sure some will be going out to some writers soon.

RICKS PLACE

Doubt I will get another Ranger II, have been somewhat disappointed  in the one I have. (No, it's not for sale) While seemingly dependable, there are some things I doubt I will get use to and a longer barrel "might"  solve only one of them.  The hammer position with the opening lever is not right for my fat thumb.  I find myself grabbing the opening lever before I get to the hammer.  I keep playing with it, maybe I will come around.  I know it's the same frame, but it just don't feel at home in my hand like my 9 year old B/W. And yes, I have the same grips on both.  What ever, I do like and am considering that new black B/W.  Looks dangerous.  Oh, thanks to Ms. Jessica for the information.

Uncle Pepper

Thanks for the reply Jessica.  I'll keep an eye out for the videos.  Feel like a kid at Christmas.  Get to work Rick you only have a month lol

Have any prices set yet.  I'm looking for pocket with speed loader and a driving holster.  Thanks

Warthog

Yup, though I want a few less holsters, I will want a holster with speedloader for my 2.5 in bbl Ranger II.  It will be what I get when I am able to get one, which will leave me enough time to save up for all of this too. 8)

Thanks for the update.....will have to add a Ranger II 2.5 to the list......see how much $$$ I can squirrel way and where it all ends up....do have some gear for sale so might be able to divert some funds when they go through...

OV-1D

That sure is good news on the Ranger but I'm still holding out for longer like the Sidewinder . Just a little concerned about the pivot point with the longer barrels , hope the frame there will support the extra workout from opening and closing many times .

Thanks for the update Jennifer!

I've been wanting the updated Black Widow sights.  That XS front dot may be the way to go.

Wonder if it will fit the Black Widow and be close on the point of aim? Not that I'm shooting past 10 yards just close in work.

The first message on this thread, from Jessica, sort of sounded like a no-go... for the trits on a BW that is... :(

Utah may be a little far north for "y'all" but, my guess is she was raised somewhat further south. That "y'all" just rolled off her fingers way to easy for her not to have been born saying it.

Ricks Place, I've had good luck on my BW and Sidewinder using a red rubber wire cable end on the hammer. It gives it enough purchase to make it easier and surer to cock and control. I'm looking forward to acquiring a Ranger and hope that this addition will prevent the problem you mentioned with the hammer/cylinder release conflict.
Found the cable ends at a big box store in the electrical department as I recall.
Hope that helps.

Welcome Jimbo!  I realize it's tough to post pictures until you're out of the probationary period, but I'd like to see a picture or two of your "fix".

Looking forward to seeing the 2.5 R2 in the flesh. Kept telling myself I need to stop at the 4 I have, but where would the fun be in that!
