This topic has probably been beaten to death but I wondered HOW you'all carry your NAA revolvers (or pistols, for that matter).  I need some good ideas for the BW especially, but I'd like to get everyone's input.  I live in a very warm weather environment (southwest desert) so it's shorts and tropical shirts for a good part of the year for me...work hours as well as leisure hours.  I've carried crossdraw with some success in the past with a previous Black Widow and it worked well, but I'm open to ideas. I've had .38 snubs and Bersa .380's but fo r me they are too big, bulky, heavy, and sweaty. I've very recently gone with a NAA Black Widow in .22 mag. as my main carry (low crime environment here).

When carrying my mini (1 1/8 lr) it is in holster on right side between pants and belt.
When carrying my Beretta 85fs, in holster right side attached to belt.

Dinadan

Kmystry - I carry in my right front trouser pocket. In a pocket holster, of course. I do not put anything else in that pocket.

Front pocket, strong side.....(and the loose cartridges are not in the pocket).   ;)

I carry my Pug in a pocket holster in my front pants pocket.

I live in Southeast TN at Georgia border. We have super high temps and tons of humidity. Makes for a hot and sweaty environment. I am still able to go well armed no matter the time of year. My Pug goes in a pocket holster either front or mostly back right pocket pretty much no matter the dress; casual or formal. "Give me your money!" I reach for my wallet and make introductions. Strong side, depending on occasion, in a custom Fist #2 leather holster rides a Bersa .380 or a Beretta 21a in .22 LR or more often than not a Walther TPH .22 LR. If casual enough I may replace the strong side weapon with my 1911 .45 or my Glock 9mm. If not casual or extremely hot weather I wear the 1911 or the Glock crossdraw in a combat messenger bag along with extra mags in same. Everything is holstered.

I usually use a holster in the right front pocket.  But found a new way to do it.  I wrap one of those those Velcro bands they use to wrap around electric wires to hold them together around the hammer down  to the trigger.  It keeps the hammer from being able to be cocked while in your pocket.  I place it so I can  thumb the band loose with my thumb when drawing the gun.  Too bad I'm too  dumb to take pictures and put them in here.  It would explain it better.

Pug right front pocket with holster.
1 1/8 mini in shirt pocket no holster.
Kel-tec P3AT back pocket no holster.

Arizona 98tj...
That's nice looking gun leather.
I'm also considering switching out the standard rubber Black Widow grips for the stippled Pug birdshead grips.  i think it will help to make the gun disappear.  I don't know how it will affect controllability but with 22 mag., I can't see recoil as too much of an issue.  At least it doesn't bother me with the standard grips.
I've got the "more than middle age" spare tire to deal with but, so far, crossdraw is the most comfortable way for me to carry.  Do any of you guys who have a BW carry in the front pocket or is it too bulky for you?  I see at least one of you carry a Pug this way...I wonder if the BW barrel length would make or break front pocket carry?

Wolfar

Right front pocket.

Pocket holster carries 5 extra rounds.

The gun pulls out clean from holster every time.

keyman

BW in front pocket with a holster similar to the one Arizona98tj posted from Concealment Holster Solutions.

In other words, don't  mess with uncle  lee!!!!

Wolfar... "dig the rig" man.  Where did you get that holster? Looks great.

Uncle_Lee

I carry the Pug in Black Widow holster to raise it up higher in the pocket.

When I was younger I carried only one handgun.
I got too old to fight and don't want to be messed with with.
When you get old, you heal a lot slower.

Right pocket mostly,  now a little neck holster as well.  Seems like pocket is almost universal!

wd345

if I have on cargo pants I have a breaktop in right front pocket and usually a pug in left cargo pocket. Both in a RKBA holster with leather flap to keep from imprinting.

My BW, with black rubber Mini birdshead grip panels ILO the issue huge rubber bumpers.

(The T-shirt isn't a good fit, a dress shirt's better - but you get the idea )

Be careful if you follow the masses - Sometimes the M is silent

Took about 4 weeks but it was WORTH the wait!

Outside of leather is the rough side. The smooth side of the leather is of course on the inside.

Fits perfect and pulls clear every time because of the smooth leather being on the inside of course.

He hand makes everyone and the price it well worth the wait!

I got the NAA with pouch. Like the extra rounds not being loose in my other pocket.

 :) ;D
I carry my ruger LCP380 in my back pocket and a mini mag in the right front pocket sometimes with a holster sometimes not.

This is another shot of an RKBA holster for a Black Widow (hence the "BW" stamped into the leather).  Pouch for 5 spare rounds.  I carry this in my right rear pocket.
Just enough of the grips above the pocket to make for easy access.
The tan holster is also an RKBA holster for an NAA .22 mag with 1-5/8' barrel with pouch for 5 spare rounds. Also carries well in right rear pocket.
Very fine craftsmanship.
Not here for a long time, here for a good time!

Wolfar

I sure do like my RKBA holster.

Mine does not have the BW stamp in it though. I guess he stopped doing that.

I got mine around this last December.

A good temporary holster is to use one of those cases  for eyeglasses.   Just cut it down to size and use something to squeeze the case so that the gun stays upright.  Try to get the thicker and stiffer version (about a dollar at dollar stores).  I use those buttons you get at As Seen On TV.  They go right thru the case and has a clip for the other size.  Then make a slice with a razor blade and put 2 or 3 extra rounds in there.  Works OK but it isn't a Mad Hatter by any means.  Oh, and put some velcro pads, the gritty side, on the bottom of the grip.  Makes for better handling.  I'm all out of brilliant ideas.  Need a nap.

jjccamis

Wolfar,  Stephen, at RKBA will stamp what you may want on your holster.  You have to request and pay for it.

Hey Wolfar I can make you a holster and I'll laser engrave a black widow spider on it for you. Or what ever you want pick your own spider or customize it how ever you want it engraved. Heres an Idea what the spide would look like.

Bigbird48

Oh I sliced my thumb pretty good last night so might have to wait a few days before I could begin to make it :'(
