Now that I've got them in hand , I can't say enough. The one handed control and accuracy is so much better. Pics show that they are still very much pocket pistols. They are not much longer , but they are wider giving better handling and now my whole hand grips them. This is my BW.

Talked to Thing Meister and he has done two more sets . He went and got NAA minis one LR frame and a mag conversion frame so he can do both sizes. I'm requesting anyone who gets these grips to please post pics.

got mine--love em--the portion near the cylinder is a little thick(sticks out a fair amount from the cylinder)--will try to live with it or sand then down some---trying to post a photo

And forgot to mention on those grips the size is great great if you have somewhat larger hands,very comfortable

By "great great", do you mean bigger, bigger? Or bigger, good?
The double has me confused. (what's new------I know)

I want some but they need to match Cvang's pretty close for display.

uncle Lee--by great great I meant the larger size is much better!!!! The portion behind the cylinder is a fair amount out from the cylinder,enough that it is a tight fit to snap the snaps on the Kids holsters,but they do snap--- I called him and mentioned it for future grips--I will just sand them down if I can't live with it---the part that "swoops" up to the cylinder is much thicker than the cvangs,which I suppose is better,being as plastic is stronger than wood ,so thicker wood is less likely to break----plus the gap between the grip and the rear of the cylinder is a bigger gap than the cvangs which I forgot to mention to him and will call him again about it----
Waiting for some friends to get back from Costa Rico so I can borrow their camera and post some pictures==
But all in all,beautiful grips and very nice in the hand!!!!!!!

I sent him a set of the Cvang plastic grips
He is going to make me 2 sets as close to the originals as he can.
I should have them in a few weeks.
I need 2 sets for my 4" Earls. I missed them when Cvang was making the "wood" grips.

That is the great thing about Thing Miester he aims to please his customer. The wider , extended design was what I wanted. I sent him a mag frame and Bird's head , BW oversized , and vangs and asked for wood like BH , width and length of the BW and look of the vangs. He gave me what I asked for , and I am sure that he will do a great job with Uncle Lee's request. Can't wait to see them.

Bayonet on a mini revolver... Gotta admit, I hadn't thought of that yet. Is that a laser on top? I got a laser for my P3AT this week. Didn't magically make the little blaster "accurate" by any reasonable definition, but it did improve my groups at about 20 to 40 ft.

Mr. Meister seems like he wants to provide his customer with exactly what is in the customer's mind.

It is just that on my first buy from someone, I reserve my judgment until I hold the order in my grubby little fists.
If I don't like it, I might say I don't like it one time.
If I do like it, I will shout it from the roof tops for ever.

RE: Hippie---the larger grips for the BW are incredible in the hand---I mentioned earlier and I suppose yours were the same-the area near the cylinder was way too "proud" of the cylinder so sanded mine down flush---re stained the area and called him to see what topcoat he used and was surprised that he used automotive paint topcoat-- so I sanded the peesquat out of the finish and used 4 coats of polyurethane---looks ok but a little slick whereas his finish is fairly grippy--- Will buy another set of his larger size because of the way they fit the hand---NAAs rosewood grips feel fairly good in the hand but thingmeisters are a class above!!!!!

Received an e-mail this morning.
They have been shipped...
Now I have to dig out the 4" Earls to put them on.

I made a mistake.
I already had Cvang grips on my 4" Earls. I didn't log it when I changed them.
S-O-O-O
I put the Thing Meister"s grips on a pair of long barreled minis.
I did have to do a little trimming on the inside of them to get them to fit in the frame.
I would rather trim on grips and have them tight than to have them drop on and be loose..

Not that I'm saying they aren't nice BUT the orginial WOOD C-Vang grips look to be a better fit and better overall look . Just an opinion as usual . Nota fan of these oversized things anyways , distracts from the actual gun too much , anymore functional I doubt it from the NAA styles . Make them in IVORY then you got something .

im not a fan of them either. i do fine with the stock grips. i have strong fingers. i wouldnt doubt that they make it easier to grip as there is more to hold onto. i just put a death grip on mine.
