Hello there everyone, I bought a NAA 22LR  1-1/8 BBL just a few days after an old friend showed me his 22Mag/22LR NAA Mini.  Now I want another, just like was said, they are like potato chips.
Thanks for having me.  I live in Maine, and go to a small 22 only indoor range which is nice to have available.

OLD and GRUMPY

Welcome. There will be more minis.

Pictures. Old farts like pictures. Take advantage of the other topics. It's not all guns.  Did I say pictures?

Welcome to our forum, Valvestem!  I have tried several different grips for my 22 LR 1 1/8 Mini, and for me, I prefer the rubber slip on grip. To me, it has the best feel and stability.

Yup, me either until last winter.  It has been in existence since the mid 1940s, set up for men and kids to shoot targets.  $50 a year for membership, I love it.

Welcome Valvestem!

Yep, there will be more. The first one looks cool you show your friends, they say how cool it is.

Then..... you see a different model, "what the heck is that?" You tell yourself how cool THAT one is then you figure out a good reason to buy it too.

Then, you realize "Hey! lots of those folks on the NAA Forum have more than one, I can have more to!"

Next thing you know, you got 2 of them. Then 3 and so on....

Welcome again, the first bunch of posts are a pain for you (the verification code thingy) so we understand if you put up some weak comments (example, "looks good", "great photo", "nice gun" "Does Uncle_Lee really keep his HUGE collection of mini's in shoe boxes?") to get through the trial period (I think it is 15 posts.)

Good Morning Mr. Stem,
You have only one NAA Mini??
Quit, get off this forum, stick that mini in a shoe box.
If you don't, you will buy more and more and more and more.
Your need can not and will not be satisfied.
You will see one that you don't have and the urge to have it will overcome you.
You will start sneaking out to go to the gun shop.
The minis are small you can hide a lot from the world.
I feel you may be lost already.
Pity, Pity, it is.

Welcome to the forum.

Uncle Lee,
What is it with you and the shoebox???

Why don't you just break down and get a vault like everyone else????

It is bad enough that Valvestem is trying not to get the NAA addiction, then for you to have him get the shoebox thing!!!

Is that the Hogue slip on grip from NAA?  The standard grips are way too small.

The shoe box is my thing. It is what I write about.
There is not enough room here for a gun safe or I would have kept all three of mine when we moved to town.
So I talk about shoe boxes for my minis.

Yes, Kevin55, that is the Hogue slip on grip from NAA. They come in 2 different sizes, for either the 22LR frame, or the Magnum frame.

Welcome to the nUt hOuSe!
It is amazing what changing grips do to the look and feel of these little beauties!

A couple days ago I came by 4 old metal cased eyeglass holders, which I understand can make a great mini-holder for some peeps.

I expect yours will be the loudest piece in a .22 only indoor range. Might startle a few folks. What distance is the range?

The range is 50 feet long, and you are right, its loud, I left my muffs home and went with orange disposable earplugs, they let a lot of the pop-snap-crackle through to my old ear bones.  Haha.
