Dinadan  ----         Thanks, thats interesting and informitive. No way has it ever occured to me to do anything with those cannon balls but to leave them alone .  My fear would have been static ele. and no way would I try to clean one up, or even let any thing that could make a spark get close.
I think the guy was lucky  for longer than you would  he might have been.

I wasn't ever going to mess with them, but thanks again...

1st my Dad went to Heaven in 1962 so you can tell I am old but have learned patience.  I am waiting for a 21/2" so I will really need some.

My guess is maybe they used some of that new equipment to build the Rangers? So I'm betting no....

My father passed back in 2009. All the wishing I've done since hasn't brought him back yet... :'-(

My dad passed in 97', still seems not long ago.
