NAA Products / Re: Widow barrel question
February-27-22 04:02
Thanks to all:  My Widow is marked .22LR and is on a Magnum frame.  I was just wondering about the barrel groove diameter?  If it came either way, I would say it had a magnum barrel, but it came marked .22LR so I was wondering if they mounted a .22LR barrel.  I guess I could slug the barrel.  THANKS!

NAA Products / Widow barrel question

Greetings from sunny Arizona.  I bought a Widow from a friend.  I noticed it said .22Lr on the frame.  Does that mean I can't get a .22 Mag cylinder for it?
I know most switchable guns come with a 22mag sized barrel and you can shoot .22Lr through it with a cylinder change.   Did mine come with a .22Lr sized barrel that would cause issues if I shot magnums?  Thanks....

I have owned this nice widow for a while.  I am beginning to get the Magnum bug.  Are there any Mag cylinders floating around there?  Thanks!

I have a Widow and it is marked "L".  It shoots long rifle.  But I see on Ebay a cylinder marked "LR".  Also plain ones too.  So I think you all are right. I need a plain cylinder.  Thanks guys!

Greetings:  I have been looking for a WMR cylinder for my Black Widow.  I am somewhat confused because I am seeing different stampings on the front face.  Some are plain. some are "L" and some are "LR".  How do I tell if it is a true Mag cylinder?   Thanks....

It varies with shipping patterns, but:
https://federalammostore.com/personal-defense-punch-rimfire-22-lr/         In stock $10.99   10/17/21
https://cassieammo.com/index.php/product/personal-defense-rimfire-22lr/  in stock $10.99 10/17/21

I have a die that you use to FP any type of .22LR ammo.  Used it for years.  You can hear the impact difference. Plus holes in game are sharp edged better.
If you just file down a regular RN  and shoot on paper , the holes do look different.  The tears around the edges are shorter.

I owned a few of the old mini's but they got sold or traded along the way.  I got big, "piano player hands". I like the bigger mag framed guns and thought to give them a try.  Bought a Black Widow last week, But have not gotten it yet.  As I get older I am thinking I needed a small pocket gun (But big enough to fit my hands).  I am pleased to find such a great site.  More when I get some shots down range.  Later
