Gotta love those rugers
You got that right. I just got this one yesterday, but I've been wanting a .45 Redhawk since they first introduced them several years ago. Glad I waited and got one that also accepts .45 ACP with moon clips!

my pants are falling down just looking at the weight of that......suspenders for an owb with that thing. maybe rick could make you a pocket holsters with a 6 round pouch. Nice gun! and with 45 acp too! congratulations!
It's too bad that our friends cant be here with us today

Nothing fancy.  Just a S&W 637 Airweight 38 Special.  The only revolver I currently own other than NAAs.

I won't carry a laser device... unless it has stun, kill, and disintegrate settings.

I like J-frames but LOVE K-frames.  The problem with J-frames, they're really too big and heavy for pocket carry, and if you belt carry you might as well have a steel frame and longer barrel.  I have 2 such J-frames, a 3" Model 60 and 3" Model 63.  Stainless steel with adjustable sights.  Here's a pic of the 8-shot Model 63-5:

Thanks! Yeah, it's pretty heavy alright. I think the official number is 46 ounces. I'll probably get a Simply Rugged pancake holster for it, and maybe use a cross-shoulder strap to help support it. I already have to wear suspenders with even a light gun.

It's not Wednesday, but today my brother and I got our matching Hogue grips on our Taurus 608 .357-Magnum revolvers. Mine is the one with the 8-3/8-inch barrel on top and his is the one with the 6-1/2-inch barrel. Not only am I loving these wood grips, but I'm liking the 8-shot revolvers even more than before. These are a couple of very sweet wheel guns. :)

Mini Masters on growth hormones?

Those look really nice. Good choice on grips!

A while ago I received this 6-shot H&R Model 732 revolver chambered in .32 S&W Long.  Here it is, next to my .22WMR 1 1/8.

Same here. Including the drop cylinder ones, which make me feel like I'm shooting a much larger NAA.

Haha, Yup. My first ever revolver was a pice-of-junk Imperial Metal prod. Mode 7 .22 short, which you also removed the cylinder pin and the cylinder to load. It was really a junk gun, but I love that thing. I still have it. Bought it for $20 at a pawn shop in around 1986. No background check, no paperwork. It went bang every time and was actually quite accurate. It's bigger than an NAA, but not by a huge amount.

Warthog

Miker, I have one of those myself.  Lots of fun to shoot.

My first cartridge revolver (already had a couple of cap and ball revolvers) was an RG 10, which is almost identical to the Imperial Model 7. I bought it "on the street" for 5 bucks. It was pretty accurate too, and I used to wear out the local snapping turtle population with it. That was about 40 years ago.
That little gun is a big part of why I like NAAs so much.

Here's my favorite non-NAA drop cylinder .22, though. It's an H&R 923, made in 1951. 4" barrel, 9 shot and unlike most drop cylinders it actually has an extractor star. You just stick the base pin into the center hole in the cylinder, push and it ejects all 9 empties at the same time.

You're welcome; glad to share. I just picked this one up last week.

ok, i know I haven't posted to this thread for a bit but I have one for today....

Here is my new FOUR inch EAA 357 magnum.....

Here are both of my EAA 357 magnums, a 4 inch and my previously owned 2 inch...

I took the new four inch out to the country to fire a few rounds, (safely) out the car window since I can't go to the range until my feet.... I wanted to know it worked well, it does and I blew the snot outta a few dirt clods so it aims well too.  Loaded with Gold Dot Short barrel 357 mags will make for a nice new bed stand revolver.  Yeah the reduced flash for the shorte barrel might not be needed but I don't have those with full blast so these will do for now... 8)

Very nice German made revolvers for a low price, mine cost me $300 new and the 2 inch was only $275 last year so they are nice revolvers for a very affordable price.

Nice job on the craftsmanship HTM I also like those grips on the Colt

Thanks Joe.  I'm no Rick Jorgenson for sure, but I'm happy with the way that one turned out.  I bought those stag grips from Eagle Grips shortly after I bought the gun.  They reminded me of my favorite cap gun when I was a young wannabe cowboy.

Joe - I think you have created one of the largest posts running at this point in a long time.  Nice Idea!  Hope there is a prize in it for you.  ;D

Hey Honky Tonk - I really like that holster you made...might make me want to try it.

I am gonna try to post a few more of my revolvers next week.  I don't have any super collectible ones or a lot of relly pretty Colts or S&W's, just a bunch of guns that I like to shoot and didn't cost me a lot when I bought them. 8)

Thanks Mike.  You can do it.  Like I said before, it's not as good as a genuine Desert Gun Leather holster, but there is something to be said about the feeling of accomplishment when you do it yourself.  Next Wednesday I'll show you one of my early attempts.  I made a pocket holster for my mini.  Don't laugh when you see it.

Warty, post more photos next week!  I enjoy seeing guns I never held, handled, or owned.  Never too old to learn.

Joe, even as a lurker, I always looked forward to  "Wheelgun Wednesday".  I looked forward to it every week.  Kinda' like the gift that keeps on giving...  Hope it continues!

KEN AR

Well Wednesday came by to fast this week.

Here is one of my favorite wheel guns.  I had Rick make a nice custom rig for it. Belt, Holster and ammo slide.

Smith and Wesson Governor with Crimson Trace grips.  This is a 6 shot 410, 45 Long Colt or 45 ACP.  I like to think of it as my SHTF sidearm.  Main use is while outdoors as I do not like the AZ critters that have the Buzz tail.  The 410 does a very nice job on the snakes.  While a mini has taken this ones place around the house I still like it in the desert for anything with teeth or fangs.
