Uncle Lee, I was admiring your "carry package" and I noticed what appear to be Firestar .45 pistols. Am I correct? Do you like them? I have a Firestar compact .45 and I would not trade or sell it for any money. I love it, although it is alittle heavy for edc.

Hang in there mr. madhat, when you get your life back together, and you will i plan on ordering a holster for my new pug. It is very lonely with no leather to snuggle. :-)

I just bought one this summer and I love it! It is an easy gun to shoot and is pretty accurate. I would recommend them to anyone. My problem is trying to find ammo for it.

I used to have a Davis derringer in .38 special, man the recoil hurt like the dickens sold it after one time of shooting it.

Moderndayedison, I live about an hour or so north of St. Louis and the snow is all gone for the moment, but I'm sure it will be back. Would love to be in the carribbean  right now. :-)

education is the best tool, I took my kids to the range i took my boys hunting with me, they were allowed to handle the guns, shoot them etc. They are all responsible adults and we never had a problem with safety in our home.
