Well, I will defer to your opinion, Rick. I ordered it from you after all.

Hi all,

Got this beauty a while back from the leather artisan at Desert Gunleather for a pug ( I used my 1 1/8? magnum in it, shhh?.don?t tell Rick) but I find I use the cross draw or pocket holster most of the time.
So it?s up for someone else to enjoy. About new, asking $60 shipped.

Thanks

101, like the Winchester I got Dad.

Uncle Lee, I?ll have to take a pic of my mini with the deer. Very useful!

I think what causes people to disbelieve or be hesitant is the misinformation. All deaths suspicious in nature or due to an infectious disease must be reported to the Coroner by Pa law. In my County the Coroner says he has 476 deaths due to Covid. But the Pa Dept of Health lists 869?

Now one of them has to be wrong. Are doctors disregarding the law and not reporting these deaths to the Coroner, or is the State somehow adding numbers?

Oh, and coronavirus has been and will always be with us. It?s just the strain of the year 2019 that has caused this.

All of this you can research on your own.

I believe in personal choice. I believe in the choice I make to carry a gun to protect myself, and you if I should be in a position to do so.
I believe I had C19 before it was known about as I was quite sick, and that?s very rare for me, in Jan 2020. But, as I?m in good health, it passed. I did get the jab, mainly because of my wife who isn?t in the best of health, and my father who recently passed.
But not due to C19. No, he died of heart disease and failure at 91. How many Americans  die of that every year? Well, I can only tell you of my County in Pa. See, I work with the Coroner. We have a population of roughly 352,000 people, and lose about 3000 a year. Total C19 numbers so far? 476.
Oldest was 109, youngest 36, average 80. ALL had various serious medical conditions which may have been exacerbated by C19.
No one seems to care about the roughly 2500 other deaths each year.

You want the shot? Get it. You want to wear a mask, distance, or just stay home? Do so.
Personal choice. Your opinions of MY choices mean nothing to me at all. Walk a mile in another mans shoes before pushing your beliefs/agenda on them.

Bearcatter  and Grayelky, you have my condolences.

DO NOT pull the slide back with the magazine removed. The magazine supports the trigger bar spring. Common oops of new owners. Past that they can be finicky on what ammo they feed well. There is an overall length you have to stick to. They were made around the Winchester Silvertip.  Here is a link for some more info:

Enjoy!!

Carry one daily. I had this sight milled into the slide. I know some people don't like it but it works for me.

Rogue, that big dot sighted mini looks awfully familiar....

Got the "Misfit" today. All I can say is wow!

And another nice surprise in the little bag, a business card holder! Extremely generous of you Rick!

Thanks again!,

I carry my 1 1/8" magnum on daily walks with my 40 lb Brittany. Coyote howls are heard most mornings.

I've hit coyotes with 22lr rifles, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. The 00 Buck 12 ga works every time but would be socially awkward in my neighborhood.

Holding hope for post #4........maybe a cross draw for a magnum stubby?

Fingers crossed. Until then I'll use my paddle holster.

Cold War days in Europe, MP's carried the 1911 with three full seven round mags, but empty chamber. Well, we were supposed to but I know a few enlightened guys carried cocked and locked under the flap of the holster.

The oversize BW grip on my 1 1/8" magnum worked for me. Bigger than your 22lr model I know, but maybe something along those lines will work for you. Don't know until you try.
Good luck!

Thanks Uncle Lee,

I still have the mini magnum which I carry daily. Making room for another one or two......

Up for sale is a mini master with both cylinders, lockable metal case, box and all papers.
This shot well, accurate and reliable. I did slightly round the front edges to ease reholstering in the included Desert Gunleather right hand belt holster, see pics.
Asking $350 shipped to your FFL from mine.
Thanks!

I'd love to hunt Michigan or out west. Not that I mind the Pa deer woods. Just filled my tag yesterday with my crossbow. Thinking of taking a doe in rifle season, but I might wait till flintlock season, that's always fun.
Ground some up and have a cheese stuffed meatloaf in the smoker as I type. Should be done in an hour if anyone is nearby.....

Cheers!

Carry what's comfortable for you and your situation. For my 90 year old Dad, living by himself, that's a Colt Jr 22 short I found him some years ago. It rides in his pocket and he enjoys that it's about as old as he is, and still works.
At work, I carry bigger guns. When not at work, I carry smaller ones.
The mini magnum is always in a pocket, just in case.
When I retire.....I may only carry the mini, depends on what this world and my little piece of it look like at that time.
Cheers!

Currently have the Winchester lead free 28 grain varmint round in the 1 1/8" mag, and CCI 40 grain HP in the mini master.
Why? well, it's what I could find locally, the the Winchester stuff is darn accurate. I also feel the round will perform well in a close encounter facial application.
Lets hope I don't have to find out.

DS10speed,

Encore in 30-06 that i had cut and threaded for the suppressor. And yes, I am often tempted to add more barrels, but stick with that and the Katahdin 45-70 for a light woods carbine.
